Ebata Optometry

I've been going to Ebata Eyecare for multiple decades and they always go above and beyond to help me! Every experience has been positive, informative, and very supportive. For example, today I dropped my glasses and the lens popped out. I walked into Ebata Optometry without an appointment, and Mrs. Ebata took my glasses and got them fixed for me within minutes. I was also going to purchase some contacts because I am heading to a conference, but then Mrs. Ebata checked my file and reminded me that I have an eye exam scheduled in 9 days, so she provided me with a pair of complementary contacts to hold me over until I have my eye exam for a new prescription. Both Dr. Ebata's are also really personable and explain all the information really well. Ebata Optometry is the absolute best & they are all sincerely kind people!

Wonderful team at Ebata. Will highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a optometrist. Best place I have ever been too! Very welcoming and offered me tea while trying on glasses. The eye doctor is amazing. I am very happy that I found Ebata!

I just want to let everyone know, how wonderful, kind and genuinely cares for her patients JACQUI is. She is the best, My mom is in hospital and the hospital lost her glasses. I work in the optical industry, so I know how desperate she needs glasses. Jacqui, picked out a frame, got her lenses made so fast and then hand delivered them to her in the hospital. The smile that she put on my mom's face when she could see again, was priceless. She truly is a wonderful optometric assistant that cares so much for her patients. This kind service is what makes her special, To care for her patients so much and help them in a time of need, I feel so grateful that she took the time and energy to help my mom.This optical is truly blessed to have such a fabulous optometric assistant like her.

I recently had occasion to work with Ebata Eyecare on a couple of issues I was having. I cannot begin to express how pleased I am with both Dr. Ebata, as well as Amrita and her staff who look after the optical side. They spent a tremendous amount of time helping me explore the possibility of contacts, and then in finding a set of lenses for set of frames that had a specific use. The patience, professionalism, care and positive attitude that they approached my needs with was outstanding. They are also very gracious people, and I look forward to working with them in the future as they have earned my absolute trust. I recommend the Ebata’s in the highest way possible.

Ebata Eye Care has been my go to place for glasses and eye health for over ten years and it has been a great ten years. The staff are professional and friendly and Dr. Ebata is always on the cutting edge of eye health. I trust him completely with my vision care. This is a truly excellent place.

We have been going to Dr. Ebata's office since I was in highschool and have always received amazing care from all the staff. Dr. Ebata is fantastic with my kids. Jackie is an incredible optician helping choose the perfectly suited glasses and makes you feel amazing. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Ebata and his staff is the only place I will be going for any of my exams or eye wear needs even with the higher price.I have been to five different eye doctors before and all of them have given me the wrong perscription and not understood what my problem was with my eye and said that what I was experiencing was normal. Dr.Ebata however realised what was wrong and very thoroughly examed my eyes and realised I have double vision that needed a prism to correct it. He diligently picked the right prism for me and did not rush the appointment. I was so relieved to be able to see single items again I can not even put it into words what feeling heard meant. Dr.Ebata is also always very professional during exams and takes his time.On top of that his staff are amazing. Kind receptionsists are not all that common but somehow Dr.Ebata has constructed a team of the most patient humans on earth. The receptionist has been friendly to me 9/10 and the one time I believe it was very busy in the office and it has not swayed my view.The girl who helps you pick out your glasses is also very knowledgable and honest. The first time I got glasses from her she looked at me once and knew right away which glasses I would look good in without me even trying them on yet. They were not something I would normally try but I tried on 3 dozen different glasses and hated them all but adored the ones she chose and wore them for three years until I had to get a new perscription. She also did not try to sell me a new frame when I returned and did not pressure me at all into buying an expensive frame. She was very open and honest about the prices and what was a need vs what I could do without. The second time I came in I really had no idea what I wanted again aside from color and tried on probably 50 different options and she was still very patient and kind with me and even made sure the ones I wanted I was okay with since they were out of my budget but I loved them so much and her honesty that I felt really good paying for them. I asked her honest opinion on some runner ups and she made great points without offending me and I really apprecisted the honesty. She also was very diligent in trying to get them covered through my funding for me instead of letting me pay out of pocket when I got frustrated with how my beneftis worked. The staff here really go the extra mile and you will feel like a person not just a quota if you go to ebata. I have signed up my sister and my partner onto a year long waitlist because it is honestly worth it. I also waited a year for my appointment because I knew that I would rather have the right perscription eventually than the wrong perscription and waste my money quickly. Lastly I missed my appointment because I work 33 hour shifts and I felt so bad and anxious to call and see if I could still come in and just pick up my glasses but the receptionist was so nice and said that was totally fine and when I came in there was no hostility or asking me why I missed my appointment they offered me a seat and smiled at me and made sure I was happy with my ourchase before letting me leave the store. They got me to try them on even though it was outside of my appointmnet time, walked me through what was placed in the bag, and still left the chocolates in the bag they normally do. It really made me feel so much better about accidentally missing my appointment that I genuinely felt bad for wasting their time but they were still more than professional. Would recommend and do recommend. The waitlist is worth it and the price is worth it.
