I am currently on my way to eat at this establishment and I can't wait to meet April. After reading these reviews and working for years in the food industry all I can say is if the food is 1/10th as good as I think April is,and by reading her comments she seems like an amazing lady the food should be well worth the trip!The food was definitely good, and reasonably priced. Some would say the ice cream in sugar cones was the desert, but April was serving up some manners as an older gentleman was bothering her for a menu after being in the restaurant for maybe 2 min. He was somewhat rude and April politely explained that she was the only one working and she'd be with him after serving us. He was pretty rude, but she told him to wait. Great service April, great food and a great small town restaurant. Would definitely recommend!!

I loved the atmosphere, I and everything was cooked to perfection. Prices were good, well worth the meal! Oh by the way sue from Ontario. There is a sign. LEARN HOW TO READ! And don’t be ignorant!

Friendly staff, great food. Clean, comfortable surroundings. Fantastic buffet at a great price. Need I say more?Coffee pot is always full of fresh, hot brew. Depending on who made it, sometimes it's a bit weak for my liking, but it's never been a real issue.April's is THE PLACE to go for a wonderful meal. And the portions are always generous!

Stayed as a contractor in the Hotel and dined daily at APRIL's just after they opened, back when. Nice family and atmosphere. Friendly. Good food. Rooms in the hotel are dated and somewhat old but were clean and suitable accommodations for our needs.

Nice clean modern diner. Couldn't believe we found this place when we were working in central butte. Never tasted food as nice in my life. Big meals for a reasonable price. Fresh all you can eat everyday at lunch for around $10. April was very friendly and didn't keep us waiting. would recommend stopping in if your passing through central butte.

Took my family from Ontario to April’s which we had bragged up to them and were excited for. Unfortunately it was not a good experience :( my sister-in law loves purple and I wanted to get her something to remember the day. I saw all these head bobbing flower pots in the window and thought that would be a good idea. I went to the window and saw the one I wanted and was about to pick it up and pay for it. I think it was the owners wife who happened to be on the phone and she raised her voice at me so the people in the restaurant heard her loud and clear. ‘Don’t touch them they are not for sale’, ‘they were gifts to me from people’I felt like a kid getting heck for what????? I went and sat down she comes over and starts telling me that I was not allowed behind the counter. So I commented that she should have a sign up so people knew that they were not for sale. Her comment there is one. I didn’t see it. So she says come with me I’ll show you... what am I a kid!When we left I looked for a sign well it’s a small sign and it’s not noticeable at all.Not a smile once from her! My family couldn’t believe how she made me look! and how dry she was! I guess we were a burden not a customer :( So I rate the service and atmosphere Zero ‘0’

It was Sunday night and the turkey dinner special was being offered at April’s Diner. A delicious plate of turkey, stuffing, peas, potatoes, gravy and cranberries. Followed by a tasty cup of coffee and rice pudding. What a great place to dine. Thanks for the wonderful meal and engaging conversation April. Wishing you all the best over the holidays.

Driving South from Saskatoon I asked Good old Google for a place to eat. What a delightful find. The Central Butte community and any passers by are fortunate to have this Restaurantess. Beautiful restaurant and homey friendly atmosphere. Also a delicious Omelette. Thanks April. I hope to come again and would definitely point any other passersby your way.

Stopped in town after a 25 year hiatus, April’s diner was a great welcome back. Stopped in for an ice cream and a local weather forecast. Good selection of Chapman’s ice cream and a nice patio to enjoy it on.
