I recently graduated from the HCA program.Facility needs improvement: there is no destination testing centre I wrote my provincial exam it was loud and nobody cared there was an exam in progress in the Salt office, the direct entrance to the college should be completed because steping around people smokes drugs using IV drugs in plan site inside the mall entrance isn't safe environment I used to hate going to school on campus because of this. But at least the college part is clean ladies in housekeeping do a great job. Ladie that is in charge of the facility is vary nice and helpful.Recruiter who helped me with the template for my resume is top shelf wonderful person.SAS team replaced my original adviser and it was a good choice the new one is way more helpful and not overly friendly were I feel uncomfortable.HCA program Edmonton exam prep instructor also top notch she does a good job she is knowledgeable passionate wants nothing but success everyone.Practicum 3 instructor wonderful person helpful, respectful, if I needed help she didn't make me feel like I was burden.Practicum 2 male instructor wonderful experience knowledgeable helpful and kind.For the in person lectures the class say from 5 pm to 9 pm. they would give us a one hour break most days in the middle and send you home at 8:30 pm. If they didn't give an hour break and put for effort forth I probably wouldn't need to help so many of my class mates understand certain concepts. I have help student from July, September and November cohort with various thing such as signing up with the HCA directory which is mandatory but they are afraid to ask instructors for help. I have also heard they find it hard to access tutoring. I believe if instructors were more approachable they would have high first time success rate and Admin Smith in previous google review would feel like they wasted there timeProfessionalism is part of the program but not always practice. Instructor would bring there personal baggage to school and it would affect there work. They also discuss there home life but to an extent we as students have enough stress put that energy into teach. Nursing ethics Justice is fair and equal treatment I didn't always observe this from instructors. I have seen instructor being catty and clickey I am too old for that non sense.I don't credit the College as a whole for my success they four people I credit. I spent a lot of time working on this at home by myself.Deen John was helpful with an accommodation for me.Look hard when choosing a college more matters than free parking and proximity to home. Also if they say repeatedly you get a free IPAD guess what it not free it included in tuition and you pay for it.

Everyone complains of the graduates that come from here. Terrible school and waste of your time to sort simply issues.The reality of the being a student here: exaggeration what they will do from students, this career will taxing on your own body; don't believe when they said it wouldn't be. Rude, constantly, ask you to come here and can't do anything from you.

Hello, everyone I am a student at Makami college in Marborough NeI would like to tell everyone who is willing to attend at Makami college please don’t waste your time and money it is very expensive I am taking HCA I pay over $12,000 but honestly I really regret why I go to this college because they don’t care for their students I see in my class many student don’t pass the classroom exam because they are not teaching the student very well. I also see others students who started the classes before us are struggling. They don’t pass the exam so some of them going to join us; which is we just started.For example If we don’t pass, we will go back to the class which is just start behind us. Students have hard time passing the classes exam,because lack of teaching.The first time I went into college to get information they welcome me very warm. They explain everything is like good college and I was tell them I will think and call you. They call you many times smile at me and they will act like they’re very nice then I felt good.They encourage me by calling and taxing me several times to take course. All I can say everything is about money when received money money done.Classroom teacher throwing candy at students which was very annoying and unprofessional.I would like to resign but I can’t get my money back. I am really really sad and I really regret. please Iam telling everyone who wants to join this college please don’t don’t waste your time and your money go somewhere else they can teach you good and respect you;You will be successful.I wish you good luck everyone.I don’t recommend to anyone.

I am a second-year student halfway done through my second year I absolutely love it I just got a job for $150 an hour I can’t believe it and I’m not alone most of the people in my class already working this is incredible I love the school I love the teachers I love everything about it cannot recommend it enough

I really enjoy the atmosphere and support I receive. Massage Therapy instructors are great and always willing to assist. Erin my advisor is very hands on and very easy to reach when I need. I am always being motivated and encouraged when I'm feeling unsure. Adam in salt is awesome too

Makami College is not just a college, the care and kindness that I have received and still receiving at Makami College is unheard of. I am going through a number of struggles including a divorce and Makami College stood by me all the way. Their support and encouragement to see me through my program was sincere and amazing. They truly have the student's best interest at heart.

Clean facilities, wide area, very good reception, very supportive staff.Better teaching techniques.

A week ago I paid for the course to start studying as soon as possible. Everything went very well but anybody from the customer service told me that I would not be able to start the course until after January 9th 2023. It wasn't until this morning that they told me that I can probably start the online course after January 9th. I don't want to study there anymore, it's not the only school in Calgary or Canada, I just want my refund. At the reception they only tell me that the manager is in meetings and this is every day that I have called. I do not recommend this school, there are many more in the city and country to avoid such absurd problems of this type

Excellent service throughout. Welcoming front desk staff, beautiful seating area to fill out forms and wait for your massage therapist.My massage therapist was excellent from start to finish, she was friendly, great pressure, gentle when moving limbs to adjust the sheet.
