The review by “Ryan” is false. I was a driver for Lansdowne Wholesale Meats for 3 years, and would still be driving for them had the pandemic not killed a lot of their customers, along with the price of gas. While it’s true we delivered in unrefrigerated trucks, the product was always kept at safe temperatures using a combination of ice packs and dry ice, depending on the weather. In the 3 years I worked there, I never had a complaint from a customer about product temperature or quality. “Ryan” is the friend of a customer. He left this bad review only after he was refused a consignment contract for close to 1,000 lbs of beef as a new customer. He called public health and MTO as well. That resulted in an inspection, that we passed, and myself being pulled over twice by MTO officers without being fined for anything. Lansdowne Wholesale Meat has been around since the 70’s. They haven’t remained in business for well over 40 years by cutting corners, or selling questionable product. When you google the company, this is literally the ONLY bad review you’ll find. For a company in business for over 40 years, one bad review, although a fake one, is a pretty good record

These people send meat in un-refridgerated trucks in the dead of summer. Restaurants should be ashamed to buy product from them and allow this to happen.
