Brett + Buddies Moving and Junk Removal

At first we were very impressed with Brett & Buddies. We used them for a local move. They were quick, we were moved in by dinner. Being exhausted we didn’t see a number of items of concern until the next day. We addressed this with Brett when he moved in one more load from a locker. Custom painted dresser was damaged (photos attached). When pointing this out to Brett he said I could just buy some touch up paint! Queen size tempurpedic base arrived filthy. A leather chair arrived with a hole in it. A shelving unit did not arrive at all, when mentioned, the statement was made that ‘you don’t really need that do you?’ They are a moving company and a junk removal company. Unfortunately these items were packed pristine condition and arrived looking like junk. Very disappointed as they came highly recommended.

We have used Brett's services twice now. Brett and his team are the only moving crew I would trust in Kelowna.Always an excellent experience!This is an unsolicited review.

I live out of province and Brett helped me coordinate a huge move/decluttering project for my parents in Kelowna. They had a LOT of stuff to get rid of (think hoarders!) and not only did he help me coordinate the move, he helped put me in touch with people to purchase some of their excess inventory". He was honestly a Godsend and we couldn't have done this huge job without him and his team. I would give him 6 stars if I could!"

They were all pleasant people, but sadly it was a big mistake, and a terrible experience.My bed was dismantled to move, they lost the hardware to reassemble it. I was left sleeping on the mattress on the floor for 3 weeks.( I already had an injured back and I am a senior)I was told it would only be for a couple of days. After complaining bitterly Brett arrived with a second hand box spring mattress from ?? It wasn’t clean & I did not want it in my apartment. He told me he’d be ordering the parts (one piece also broken) from the manufacturer & would fix my bed. I waited 3 months, contacting him numerous times with no response.My son eventually spent the best part of a day buying wood, and attempting to fix my bed frame. Presently I have a temporary fix, but will have to buy a new bed frame.A beautiful antique bar cart mysteriously “disappeared “all that remained of it was one handle. He “did not know” what happened to it!Other pieces of my furniture were scratched badly, my cream lounge sofa and chairs were in an appalling state, filthy. Fortunately the covers could be removed & he did get them dry cleaned for me, but some areas are stained now.When I asked about his insurance (he had told me he was fully bonded) he said the deductible was too expensive!All in all, it was a big mistake on my part to not fully do the research and go with the cheaper quote. Brett and his Buddies were fantastic- they took 2 huge loads of junk off our hands and got those items to people who needed them. Then on extremely short notice they helped us move some items to our new house. They even moved my laundry !! Excellent, friendly boys who really helped me in a pinch. Highly recommend these boys.

Absolutely AMAZING! We hired Brett and Buddies to help us move into our new home. It was a great experience they were extremely professional and made sure everything was where it belonged. Would recommend them again and again!

Moving my household from one town to the other in very cold and icy weather. Brett and his team of professional movers were awesome, on time, careful and considerate, working tirelessly. It tru;y is a pleasure to work with them. I would recommend them anytime.

I'm so happy we called Brett and Buddies out of all the other listings. I love that they donate good items instead of just taking everything to the dump. They were on time, wore masks, very professional. The kindness and friendliness of this team can't be overstated. Very good experience and I’ve already recommended them to a friend.

Brett and his crew are the best. I've used Brett & Buddies moving services twice, once moving up from the coast and the second time this past month moving from Penticton to Kelowna. I must say they helped me so much, including moving fine art works, delivering furniture pieces to a storage unit on the way, and setting up everything at the new place. Everything arrived in great condition, nothing was lost. They even stationed one guy with the truck at all times during loading because of...the scene on Winnipeg street in Penticton that morning! And did I mention the snow...Extra efforts under demanding circumstance. I highly recommend Brett and his crew. They really go above and beyond to take care of their clients. Fair price with no surprises on the final invoice. Thank you Brett & Buddies.
