It is rare, very rare, that I write negative review of any service provider. In this case, I feel compelled. We were referred to this firm by a trusted provider, and first encounters were very positive, Mr. Jones was friendly, responsive early on, and provided some guidance at charge.As the relationship progressed, we experienced long to non-responsive lag times between emails. Emails that provided important context were lost, miss-understandings resulted, and in the path of working it out we felt totally dismissed. There was such a lack of understanding, we wonder how much of the correspondence was read. Being a believer in misunderstandings, we attempted to repair and explain our needs, only to be further dismissed with no replies.I do believe this service provider has the best intentions, but from my experience things are moving too fast for the business to keep up. I hope that through candid reviews the team is able to tighten gaps and serve others to a higher standard in the future.

Thank you Olafson & Jones for all your help over the years. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an accountant. Hands down the best firm in the city!

This is the second year my wife and I had our tax returns done by Olafson and Jones, and we couldn't be happier. Mark has provided excellent service for a fair fee. He and his staff are friendly and professional. My only regret is not going to see him earlier.

Charged over $700 for 2018 income taxes and 2016+2017 CRA audit appeals. When I asked how much I would be paying from the first meeting I was never told an honest amount. Also these “professionals” were not honest about the likelihood of getting back any of the money I had to pay the CRA for my audits even though I provided detailed and accurate documentation throughout the ordeal. They knew I probably wouldn’t win my appeal/adjustment request but they proceeded to take more of my money anyways. They took months to process everything and weeks to keep me updated with the status of everything. Brutal

I am very disappointed with Olafson and Jones and how they have dealt with me. I've been using them for my taxes for the last few years but this year has been such a pain to get a response from Mark Jones. The conversation started out well and then we stopped getting responses. I've sent multiple emails with no response. It's sad that they don't seem to care about their recurring customers.

Olafson and Jones have been doing my taxes for years and are very quick and efficient !Mark Jones is very knowledgeable about Tax Code and returns all my enquiries and provides excellent tax advice
