Come on time and you'll be good. They don't allow cell phones and I guess devices with lithium batteries(?), so your best bet is to go right across the street over to the staples to check it for like $6.Also, if you are doing a passport, you may need a prepaid envelope to ship to yourself.. otherwise, you can just pick it up in person. It's not mandatory to have. It's optional, but the envelope can also be found at the staples across the street. There is a chance that they are out of stock though, so just keep that in mind and not to scramble to find another canada post to get it just before your appointment lolPassport services seem to go way faster than at other locations in the US, but make sure you have all your papers in order

I recently was here reporting my sons birth but have been here previously to renew my passport - I have always found the staff friendly and the process pretty efficient - we were in and out. This time I remembered not to bring my phone but forgot about my watch :/ - I ended up renting a locker at Staples for $6. Overall, great experience.

Was a quite and decent environment. Not much rush near the Consulate but going towards that route was a hell. Downtown Toronto is always busy with Construction and Roads are always blocked. Very fast processing, mobiles and Bags are not allowed. Street Parking is available but very few but Underground parking is also available close by. Good luck everyone.

Very helpful and informative staff and the location is very easily accessible and conveniently located very close to public parking with ample space. They even have a photo booth in case you missed taking one (Not sure if its operational though). Only thing that would make the complete experience perfect is access to lockers since no mobiles, smart watch or electronics of any sort are allowed inside. For people travelling in public commute, it could be very difficult - however respite for them is a few steps away in the form of convenient store, photo shops that offer locker facility.

Our visa slot was at 8.45am. We reached at the consulate by 8am. Security allowed us to enter into office at 8.15am. There are chances to enter inside earlier than booking time if the crowd is less. If anyone wants to take a printout of any documents, there is a print and photo studio beside Timhortons on the same lane of consulate. Don't carry any electronic gadgets and metal objects. All the best

- The line moves really fast, and you will be done with your appointment in less than 30 mins.- I would recommend to arrive at the location in not more than 15 mins prior to your slot. They allowed us only in our time slot.- There is also a passport size photo booth in the embassy. Not sure if its working though.- NO ELECTRONIC items in the embassy. This includes smart watches, phones, laptops etc. There is an amazing convenience store down the block where you can store your electronic items.438 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5G 2L1. They are very nice and friendly. Do not worry about your safety of electronic items. I would trust them any day and would go back to put stuff.- I would recommend not to carry bags. Just carry your documentation.- Umbrellas are allowed inside the consulate

No appointment until June 2025? Seriously? Also you have to pay for the application first? I’ll receive my canadian passport by then. Why nobody cares about people’s plans? How nobody cares about those companies that booked most of the appointments and selling them with extra fee?! This is unbelievable.

Had my B1/B2 visa interview here. All the staff members are very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend you to keep all your documents handy. You can leave your belongings at a convenient stores next to the Tim Hortons for $10 per bag all day.D-160 will be checked at the gate. Make sure to arrive early to avoid long lines. The visa interview is straightforward and just remember to smile ans be honest with your answers. Don’t make the officer doubt you if they don’t have a reason to. Good luck!

The space inside is a little constrained, but overall, a very well-managed place. All the staff and visa officers are very polite and friendly. I was in and out in about 35 minutes. Just make sure you have all the documents ready and well put together! You can rent a locker at a convenience store that is close to Tim Hortons on the right side. Overall, I am very impressed with the performance.

Expect downtown traffic as usual. Staff very helpful. Don’t forget your pre paid envelope like I did. There is a staples close that you can purchase from. No electronics! If I had been bringing my young children I would use a small stroller as the area is small, but over all pleased. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
