This clinic is amazing they calmed me right down at times I was in distresses. Didn't judge me negatively for making a tough choice. They thoroughly went through things with me. And they were all super supportive. Even when there was a struggle finding a vein for an iv. It was wonderful not to be lectured and I even got to vent of my frustrations of what I was going through. Thank you so much.

I am so appreciative of the experience I had here! For anyone wondering or feeling anxious, here is what it was like:I went in for an IUD removal/insertion with conscious sedation. My prior & first experience having an IUD placed was at a GP. The experience was incredibly painful (for me) & the thought of doing it again would give me panic attacks.Upon calling Women's Health Options & inquiring about pain management, I was offered the option for sedation (the cost is $250). Honestly, it's worth it. Booking is done via phone & I was able to get an appointment within 2 weeks.Upon arriving, I noticed 2 buildings facing each other on opposite sides of 109a Ave. The house with signs reading The Back Porch" & "Women's Health information" is NOT a provider of reproductive care. I was referred to Women’s Health Options by the Lois Hole early pregnancy assessment program. I had high anxiety and was very emotionally distraught. The entire staff treated me with such kindness and compassion throughout the entire process. I received top of the line care from every single person I encountered here. Extremely thankful for everyone at WHO.

Good place, long wait times which in the end made it more traumatizing, I wasn’t able to get in until I was too far along for the medical procedure. I figured it would be an easier process considering I wasn’t requiring a surgical procedure, maybe just come in get the pills and go? instead I was made to wait until I was past the point of a medical procedure.. Can’t blame the clinic for that, only the government I guess.

I never leave reviews but had such a positive experience here that I had to. I had an IUD removal under sedation here and cannot recommend this clinic enough. My previous experiences with IUD insertion/removal have been excruciatingly painful - they made it significantly more comfortable. Every staff member was so kind and helpful. And instead of those thin paper sheets, they give you soft fluffy blankets to cover up your bottom half with. If you have difficulty with IUD procedures, definitely give them a call - they were wonderful.

I was scheduled an appointment here from the Early Pregnancy Assessment Program at the Royal Alex as I had an incomplete miscarriage and needed a DNC to remove the remaining tissue. Everyone I dealt with was fantastic and made the procedure so easy - I was definitely nervous beforehand! They had comfy chairs to sit in which is great because you’re there for 4 hours. I don’t remember the procedure at all, my memory is very foggy, but I do remember the nurse holding my hand which was very comforting. Thank you so much for everything you do ❤️

I had an IUD removal done here and I'm SO glad I chose this clinic! Every member of staff I dealt with was so kind and informative, and made me feel welcome, safe, and cared for. I opted for the conscious sedation medication and I'm very happy I did. Recovery was very smooth. Thank you Woman's Health Options for this pleasant experience!

I had my procedure done yesterday and I would say it was a great experience from the front desk up to the recovery room. The nurses were so accomodating, very welcoming, no judgement or anything, they would make you feel so comfortable and heard. Doctor Long was extremely good on what she was doing and also I forgot the name of the nurse ( she has eyeglasses ) that was with Doc Long, she was such a sweetheart! She made me so relax, and comfortable, she is the best, both of them made the procedure so easy and extremely gentle, little to no pain at all!I have zero pain tolerance and was so scared but everything went like a breeze! I called to inquire about IUD insertions. Specifically what they do to control pain. I have had a few now and know what works and doesn’t for myself. I was put on the phone with a nurse that acted like I was asking for the moon by asking about pain management other than Advil. The options are to be sedated for $250 or take Advil and nothing in between. I am so very disappointed with this as those options simply do not work for me.
