My ribs and the wife's Brisket came out cold. It was lunch so it was probably left overs from the day before but I don't understand how you get cold meat at a BBQ/smokehouse. The service was otherwise amazing and the waitress was awesome.

I have had several meals from Skinny's that were great, but something has changed. Ordered takeout - Skinnys Cheese Steak and Smoky Garlic Mash and got a completely burnt bun (made my whole sandwich taste burnt) and dried out potatoes that weren't mash at all. The passion of bbq has definitely changed.

Just in town for one night and got some food to go to eat at my hotel across the street. Burnt tips and a slice of brisket. The food was good, but the burnt ends were QUITE fatty. The brisket I had no complaints about, quite well made and tasty, but there was no sauce or anything given with the order. Not even offered... Perhaps I should know to ask, but as someone who had never been before, how could I know?Additionally, despite ordering and paying for to-go cutlery, none was given, so that was pretty frustrating. That frustration only mounted once I realized that of the two bottles of beer I purchased to-go while I was there, one was alcohol free!The food was a 4/5, the failings in my pick-up order dropped the whole thing to 3/5.Why didn't you just go back to get the cutlery and change the beer"I was starving

The food was pretty good. They have changed a few of the menu items such as the tomato and cucumber salad. Which I personally did not like. I enjoyed the old style much better. But the meat was tasty, and the meal was overall enjoyable. Service was good but slow.

A must on the list of places to eat in Medicine Hat! Prepare to be greeted by the delectable smokehouse smell as soon as you're in the parking lot, this restaurant had us smiling from start to finish. Nachos and brisket and sausage, oh my! The Nacho's were perfectly baked and the salsa was so good! The caramelized burnt ends" blew us away

Great place to stop on your way through Medicine Hat, especially if you're going for a cheap fill up from Costco, it's right along the way no matter which way you're coming from. My wife and I didn't have a huge appetite so we split some wings and the Burnt Ends sandwich (with waffle cut fries) and it was a perfect amount for a quick sit down while travelling through so I didn't get too sleepy behind the wheel. Very delicious and a good helping of burnt ends on the sandwich, they were spilling over the sides and that's what ya want, tasty little morsels those burnt ends were. I forgot to take the picture of the sandwich before I dug in so excuse the presentation look. Will definitely make a return visit to try some of the other dishes.
