Re: Muskoka Maple butter tartI was so excited to see these tarts at my local Foodland. I was hesitant to spend the $12.49 for 6 tarts, but I figured my 19 year old son was worth it. I don't think I have had a worse butter tart, and I am a connoisseur. The crust was hard and brittle, and the filling is so strong and unpleasant, not at all sweet, just bitter, nasty, I couldn't even finish mine. My son choked down one and the rest sit there untouched. They also looked Nothing like any of the lovely tarts that are shown on the website.

Wonderful place to eat in Bracebridge. All homemade pasta and baked goods and breads. Great place to take the kids. Fast, friendly service. Also it is peanut and gluten free for those who may have a loved one in your group with an allergy. A real Muskoka gem. I definitely give this one 5 stars.

The Pasta Shoppe is always a top pick for high quality food, authentic Italian recipes, excellent baked goods, superb coffee and friendly service. I went in to get a lunch for take out, June 25th, and got the special of the day, Milford bay trout with capers and wild asparagus in a delicious cream sauce with spaghetti, and vegetable ragout with gnocchi (vegan). This was the perfect lunch meal to have sitting down at the falls just a short walk away. The coffee and maple butter tart were the perfect top-off. A very satisfying meal that tasted great. My friend was overly impressed!

We just came it for a short break and a coffee. I had a chocolate chip cookie with my coffee. The cookie was of the size of a personal pizza. Both, the coffee and the cookie were excellent. The butter tart for my girlfriend was fantastic (so she said). We ask another customer, how her noodle dish was, and also she said, that she loved it, without hesitation. We took home a couple of bagles, and they were also very yummy. The atmosphere inside is very inviting and homey. It does invite to linger. The large windows give a lot of natural light. Based on this one experience, I can do nothing but recommend this little eaterty to everyone, who likes pasta and home made bakery. If you need the internet, to connect with your device, you need to use the towns provided network: the Town Crieer. Of course you will have to sign up for that. A store provided alternative would be appreciated.

The absolute BEST gluten free products. Love the bagels and pasta. Not to mention, the best customer satisfaction and service. This company is truly a gem and I would recommend them again and again.

Meh.Stopped in today after having the restaurant recommended by a friend of the owner. I tend to eat vegan so I ordered the Pesto Gnocchi. At $25 dollars with a small tip included this is tough to recommend. A little shocked at the price. The sauce was tasty but the serving was tiny, and seriously lacking value. There was maaybe 4-5 table spoons of pasta in the takeout box. : \If they had a lunch special that was $8-10 dollars I would imagine it would be lined up here.

What a nice little restaurant and store. The Pasta Shoppe is ideally located on the intersection of Manatoba and Taylor Roads.Gluten free pasta and wheat free bread baked in store. Good menu selection. Very nice atmosphere and great service. Big window for an airy feel. Close parking can be a problem but not enough not to go...

I just received my order from Beat the Wheat which came very quickly. Of course I had to dive right into the cinnamon buns. Beyond amazing. I heated one up and it was beautiful and soft and absolutely delicious the way normal cinnamon buns used to be. The bagels and buns are huge and I am beyond impressed. If you have never tried this place you must.

This place is amazing! Around a year ago I discovered I have a wheat allergy which leaves me eating gluten-free. I have tried various gluten-free restaurants/food and the Pasta Shoppe has the best food, baked goods and desserts (even better than a lot of foods that contain gluten!). I loved it so much I just had to have an assortment of desserts for my wedding. The guests were blown away by the desserts and there was no left overs. I had fellow gluten-free guests come up and let me know it was the best dessert they had ever tasted. Needless to say, the Pasta Shoppe does an amazing job creating gluten free food that tastes amazing. Whether or not you have a gluten allergy, I would recommend the Pasta Shoppe. In the midst of going gluten free, they have made the journey easier and tastier! Thanks for all that you do.
