Would to say Matt, Michelle and Allen were professional from the moment we inquired about upgrading our home theatre system. They were very knowledgeable punctual and offered ideas. Never pressured to buy beyond what we needed. The system was a little different then what we were used to they had no problem coming back to help us navigate through trouble shooting. Would highly recommend this company you will not be disappointed.

I was looking for an advice to upgrade my existing naim gear and hit upon Eq Audio after extensive search. Ed, Matt and Michelle as a team were very professional in addressing my needs and arranging for an audition.While Matt provided a wonderful audition experience on the different options/ configurations , Ed excelled in professional advise. The only effort that I had to make was driving to Barrie once for an audition and the rest of the experience until the delivery of the upgraded unit was so easy and spot on.I am now enjoying my new purchase.To top it, Eq Audio is very flexible on their approach and I would recommend this as a one stop solution for any audio requirement at a price point where competitors will find difficult to match.

I first came across Ed and Matt a little over a year ago after my projector of almost 10 years finally gave out. My experience with them was overall a very positive one.Matt is a very knowledgeable Sales rep who advocates for your budget well at very competitive price points for their product line. I appreciated both of their rapport and candidness when communicating with me whether being good or bad in regards to uncontrollable obstacles, or product availability.EQ Audio Video really does go above and beyond fostering their client/customer relationship for the long term. Because of this service I had no issues investing in a home theatre system and installation. Matt has done a fantastic job setting up our new home entertainment system in such a way that it is amazing as is but we can still add to it down the road. I really appreciate the time he spends to explain and teach how to use the equipment with so much patience! Matt goes above and beyond and I highly recommend Matt/EQ Audio for all your home entertainment needs. The cost is very reasonable and the service is great!

Came to the store for Monitor Audio Plantium G3 launch event, two nice cozy show rooms, snacks and very good selections of beverages almost like a bar! Ed and the staffs are super friendly, they are trying hard to make me feel like home and guide me through audition process in a informative and relaxing way. I nearly stayed for 3 hours, not a sigle second they were trying to push a sale, just constructive conversations, and they understand the customers' audio gear selection journey. I have been to nearly all the hifi dealer in GTA, I can state confidently EQ experince is bar non the best for me. Highly recommanded!

I live in downtown Toronto but drove to Barrie as EQ Audio was selling the high end brands that I was interested in. What I didn’t expect was to be treated so well and to be brought on a listening journey to find the speakers and components that best matched my taste. Matt was so amazing and patient with the demos. I ended up getting some really nice pieces and I’m loving it. I highly recommend this place for their service and selection of audio equipment.

We hired Ed and Dan to design and create a build out in our living room to include a built in fireplace and to mount a TV above it. From conception to design, to execution, we felt confident in their ability to get the job done and we were extremely impressed with the final result!Originally, our TV was on a stand and the wall is bare. Ed and Dan routed all the wires and cables through the dry wall and into my basement laundry room to achieve a completely clean and aesthetically pleasing look. Their attention to detail and the use of quality materials to frame the build out is second to none! You could literally do chin-ups on the frame and it didn’t budge. Ed’s measurements were spot on for the fireplace installation, dry-walling, and tiling. Once the buildout was complete, they proceeded to set up our receiver and speakers, and to program our Harmony remote. Even after everything was complete, we received continued telephone and on-site support from EQ.This buildout has enhanced our living space and our friends and family continue to rave about how the buildout turned out. We would not hesitate to recommend EQ Audio and Video. They provided excellent customer service, communication, delivered on a quality product that was within our budget.

I've purchased multiple pieces of equipment from EQ Audio Video over the last year to upgrade my home theatre. It started off with a Pioneer Elite receiver to replace my near 10 year old Yamaha. Great price, fast shipping, amazing customer service, no issues. From the new receiver, time to update to 4k. I was considering upgrading my tv for gaming and then keeping my existing projector for movies. I have a motorized screen that comes down from the ceiling in front of the tv for movies.I had many conversations with Matt about screens and display types and whether it's phone, in-person, scheduled screening or product demonstration, the EQ team goes above and beyond. For example, I was curious to see what the difference of gaming on a lower end tv to a higher end tv. Matt secured a PS5 (when you couldn't get them), ordered a tv for me to try and had me to come in and play some racing and FPS’s to try out 120hz 4k gaming. This, in my opinion, is spectacular customer service and there was no pressure to make a decision immediately. I knew I needed to take my time to make the right choice, but Matt made it easy to try things out before I made a decision.Ultimately, I decided to go with a projector and I pre-ordered an Epson LS12000. There’s a worldwide waiting list for these units and unfortunately, when it was my turn, I received a defective unit. When it was replaced, it was replaced with another defective unit. This has nothing to do with EQ, it was manufacturer (and bad luck) related. But these challenges provided Matt and EQ the opportunity set themselves apart from the rest. And let me tell you, the customer service, approachability, knowledge and willingness to resolve the very unique situation (which Epson also verified) were second to none.If this were to have happened at a big box store or so many other places, I would have been left to deal with the issues using Internet forums and a problematic unit dealing with the manufacturer to find resolution. Chances are, I would have a Reburbished replacement. But no, thanks to the dedication from EQ, I now have a brand new (not refurbished) Epson LS-12000 that's shining bright and sharp in my theatre. It’s taking on the gaming and the movies on the 120” reference screen. And the Pioneer Elite driving it is phenomenal.I wish EQ would add computers, appliances and vehicles to their offering so that I can buy it all through them just to get the service. Joking… But seriously… Not joking… I can’t emphasize enough how different the experience pre and post purchase is with this team. I may not be the easiest customer, but I’m a loyal one and EQ deserves the recognition.Matt, Ed and Michelle, thank-you for everything! It’s been a journey but one I’m glad I took with an exceptional group of people.Special shout-out to Matt - well done sir!
