My Singer sewing machine died after 27 years of great use, so I ventured out to about 3 other stores with not too much luck. When I got to Carellan I had a great experience there, not only did the nice young lady help me find a machine, she also brought different fabrics to try on the machines I was interested in. I ended buying a Pfaff and I am really enjoying the machine. Thanks girls for a great experience and your friendliness.

I would give a lower rating if I could. Had a sewing machine fixed here a few years ago, and they didn't fix it. We paid 80 dollars to fix a timing issue and at the end of the day they gave it back to us with only one stitch functioning. If I set my machine in any other stitch it would skip stitches. Not worth the time and honestly they should stop advertising as a repair shop with all of the reviews they've been getting.

Excellent place! Barb worked at my sewing machine but was unable to get it to cooperate. I left it with them for repairs/servicing. It works great. I bought another machine there, as well. I really appreciated the time she spent with me.

Barb was able to fix my sewing machine in a jiffy. She was very helpful, I was given tips for machine sewing and maintenance which was appreciated. If you are ever in need of a machine fixing or anything regarding sewing, Carellan Sewing Centre is your place.

I called today and asked if they service Singer machines from the 70s. I gave the make and model of my machine and they said I could bring it in and the technician would take a look. An hour later I arrived with my machine and was told not gonna happen

Incredibly rude there. My mom bought a singer machine at Walmart and while registering it the website said she could get a free class there. So we went in to check it out and the two old ladies in there were so rude it was disgusting. They snubbed her for it being a singer and not one of their machines and then when they found out she bought the machine at Walmart they told her to go there for a free class. She had lost her husband to cancer two weeks prior, has never sewn before in her life, and I was so excited for her to start this new hobby. Obviously will not ever step foot in this store again.

Amazing quilting at an exceptionally reasonable price! I just picked up the second quilt I had done by Barb and it is fabulous. Highly recommend!

I was not impressed by the service. My daughter's sewing machine is not working properly. It is a machine bought at Canadian Tire many years ago. I got the feeling being judged about having a cheap machine. She did not take our complaint serious and the sewing machine still does not work...In short: service was not helpful.

I have dealt with Carellan for many years, even before the current owner.I have purchased several sewing machines from Carellan over the years and have always been happy with my experience. One can always receive lessons on a new machine without cost.Any difficulty was quickly dealt with to my satisfaction.The classes offered have been helpful and taught by professionals. I would definitely recommend this business to fellow sewersor quilters
