Been in to The Intersection twice now, and I love it! I got to meet one of the owners, Meghann, and hearing her passion for fair trade and helping impoverished women was so heartwarming. The products in store are charming and well made, and the clothing is trendy and comfortable. I’ll be popping in here on a regular basis to see what’s new!

A leader in ethical merchandising, high quality clothing, and one of the few places that you'll always keep in mind. Visit this place when ever you are thinking of a skirt, scarf, bag, notebook, and gifts for friends! My table runner is incredible and a constant reminder of how we can make the world a better place.

This morning, as I sat to my morning constitutional, just as I currently sit to my afternoon one, I was notified by some social media outlet of a wonderful sale! Half off of all Christmas decorations at The Intersection: Fair Trade. This was very good news, because my three-year-old smashed my ‘1981 Baby’s First Christmas’ tree ball earlier this season, and the rest of the tree decorations have been a serious point of contention between me and the one-year-old for several weeks. Even the cheap IKEA balls can only handle so many pluckings and tossings. As I looked at our tree, now completely naked from the reach of a one-year-old downward, I was inexplicably discouraged by the limp lameness of the decor that had survived. But The Intersection has offered some hope! Handmade by fairly-compensated people from around the world, the decorations I bought are PERFECT for a household with too many boys in it. Next year, instead of pulling out the same ramshackle accoutrements, we will have stuffed pandas and owls and polar bears and reindeer and a yeti as our holiday merrymakers! Even the six-year-old perked up, although he was livid to have been tricked into going to a store when I told him we were actually going to explore a ravine. The owners here are warm, conscientious, and are committed to engaging in business that benefits all the people along the chain of production. For clothing, cards, art, and knickknacks, I’d encourage you to go nowhere else. A well-earned 5 out of 5 stars.

The staff at The Intersection are so easy to work with and what a privilege it is to support something local and fair trade. We recently had their coffee cart out for an event we hosted and they steadily worked away for 3 hours delivering drinks to happy customers. We will definitely have them out for events in the future and would highly recommend them to others!

I was WOWED when I went to The Intersection! There is a wide variety of artisan, handmade items at super reasonable prices, all of which goes to help individuals and families in impoverished countries. Dayne and his wife are truly doing something amazing with their store and their cause. This has easily become my new favorite store in Surrey and Langley.
