I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Craig 1:1 to design a functional work from home space. I came in to the store feeling frustrated with being confined to working out of a small condo. DesignRepublic made it possible to work around the challenges of living and working in a tiny space. I really appreciated Craig taking the time to review the measurements provided and thoughtfully developing a system that integrates STASH shelving and a matching desk. The workstation looks like it was built into the condo unit, as if it was always meant to be there! Jean was wonderful about following up regarding supplier delays as a result of the pandemic. She took the time to explain the process they go through to develop their products in collaboration with their supplier, helping me better understand the challenges in getting the final product. If you're looking to purchase high quality furniture for long term use, I HIGHLY recommend working with DesignRepublic. Certainly worth the wait!

I placed an online order for 3 patio tables and 3 patio chairs from Design Republic on March 6, 2022. I really loved the style of the furniture but I also loved that it said 2-3 weeks for delivery. I received part of my order 6 weeks later, 3 chairs and 2 tables, but now it's been 5 months since my initial order and I'm still waiting on that final table to complete the set. It's a patio table that I'm waiting on, and I purposely chose it to have it for summer, and now summer is almost over. The sales team has been very pleasant and responsive, and I understand that there are supply chain issues, but when they advertise 2-3 weeks for delivery on a website, 5 months is a really long time to wait. Hoping this gets sorted soon so I can have a patio dinner party before summer's end.

Beautiful shaker bench! Showed up very well packaged and protected. The bench is excellent quality.

Very happy with my custom counter height table with quartz countertop (and caster wheels to move around) for a small kitchen seating area, which can also be used for additional prep area. Not easy to find a place that offers local, well made, custom furniture. Price reasonable, great service (despite some Covid related delay). Their new west end store well situated and worth checking out. Thanks again, Luca and Jean!

The quality of their furniture is truly exceptional, but unfortunately, their communication skills leave a lot to be desired.

We were able to find a wonderful dining table and chairs that we could actually see and feel before buying. Doesn't matter how many different models you can find on the internet, nothing beats being able to actually sit in a chair before you buy it. Plus, I love that I could help support a local independent Canadian business owner!

We often visited Design Republic on Queen Street some years ago and picked up things over the years. Always great and it has continued to be especially with Jean helping us with outdoor dining chairs and a rug just recently. We will continue to be connected!

Wonderful experience purchasing a couch from this location. The options are suitable for condos and the customization is diverse.New location is spacious with lots of parking.
