Hunts Point Beach Cottages

If you're looking for a relaxing, comfortable, quintessentially Nova Scotian vacation experience this is a great place to stay. This was our third visit and we plan to stay longer next summer. The housekeeping cottages are clean and well appointed with everything you'll need, and are right on the white sand beach in a beautiful little cove. The owners are friendly and welcoming and their quiet policy is very much appreciated. Lots to do in the area, or you can just swim, kayak, stroll on the beach or kick back with a book on your verandah. We love it all--see you next summer Mark and Lorraine!

We had a fantastic couple of days at Hunts Point. The cabins were clean well stocked and beach was 50 yards away. The staff Nd owener were very friendly and ensured our stay was memorial.

The beach was gorgeous and the proximity to Liverpool and other close beaches was great. However as others have mentioned the attitude of the owners was not friendly nor helpful and the list of rules (take out garbage, turn off lights, quiet times) was excessive (even for a family that wanted a quiet vacation it was too much!). The cottages were clean, yet outdated and they did not provide soap or shampoo.

I would love to give this five stars but there were a few small issues with the whirlpool tub, and other little misses which took away from our 2 night stay in the otherwise beautiful executive suite cottage. The location is absolutely beautiful, a beach is practically outside your door, fine white sands. It wasn't terribly busy compared to other beach areas not far from here which was a peaceful bonus. A great spot for quiet relaxing. Would definitely go again.

Lovely, perfectly peaceful place for a family to stay. Right on a beautiful white sand beach with a working wharf in view. Close to local amenities and attractions. A great home base" for touring NS. You can stretch your budget dollars by cooking your own meals. The property is very clean and well maintained. No pets and no fires makes it great for my allergies. Cottages are comfy and cozy with a distinct Nova Scotian flare. They are well equipped and very clean. We enjoy the DIY "housekeeping" during your stay attribute as it makes for a relaxed private stay. Owners and staff are friendly and welcoming and very conscientious about keeping the atmosphere enjoyable for all. Can't wait for next year!!!"

This place is awesome! Stayed here with a few friends and were directly on the ocean. Has a beautiful white sandy beach. The cottages are modest, but very cozy. Our host was so accommodating. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Hunts Point Cottages was wonderful. Very quiet and relaxing listening to the ocean waves and walking on the beach. Nice to just sit on the deck of the cottage and enjoy the refreshing salt air. Cottages were very clean and well equipped for housekeeping. Asked the kids to help describe the cottages and their vacation experience. Here is what they came up with:Cool, cozy, lovely, amazing, beautiful, good view, great curtains, adorable, close to beach, nice sand and waves.They are 5 and 8 and speaking from the heart. This is our fourth summer and it is now a family tradition. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else . The beach couldn’t get any closer to our patio (steps away) and the cottages are very clean. Appliances are cleaner than I keep mine at home and linens super fresh. This is a perfect place to make some great summer memories.

A nice view of ocean but for almost 300 a night it need some extras .The bathroom had no soap and with covid measures going on that would be a good thing to include .Our 2 bedroom was roomie enough for 2 couples but a ceiling fan and a few fans in the bedrooms would be a pause when it’s 30 degrees on an August day imaging how those small cabins heat up .for those who like to read before be bring your own bedside light they have none makes it a bit hard to get around in the middle of the night for a bathroom trip .I did notice that our cottage had no fire pit so as we like to sit out at the end of a beach day around the fire we were out of luck on that one to .I did see a few fire pits by some of the cottages but like I said not all ! I’m not opposes to a rustic interior as decor but comfortable seating and fans or air conditioning I feel is a must ! I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone to stay for more than a night one for the price which I feel was to high for the shape of the furnishings. And lack of amenities include.

Enjoyed a very relaxing quiet weekend. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The owners were were nice and very accommodating. The location virtually on the beach was second to none. We will definitely be returning and will recommend to all our family and friends.
