The Laurels Waterloo

This is, by far, the worst place I ever lived in while paying the most expensive rent I ever did. It's crazy expensive for what it is - Specially considering it doesn't even have basic utilities working properly. Stay away if you value your money and want some minimal comfort in your new home (like having actual AC lol).

The 5 stars is for the guy that cleans the building and for keeping it very clean .other than that they should hire new management or this building will turn into a slum . Also in regards to the person that’s a student that wrote a review . They purposely decline you because 90% of students treat their living space like a dump .Also for a building that charges 2000-3600$ a month for rent there is no security guard and management is barely ever in the office .

PROS : Newly built building.Good Interior DesignCons: Lacks Security, present residents faced issues due to lack of security.Unresponsive management.

Frequent fire alarms: can be two times in a row within one hour on Friday's evening.Garbage chute doesn't work on weekends, can't sort organics.Walls are made of paper: someone is jumping upstairs all days long.Skaters found this parking to be a good spot. If you have a car, don't get surprised to find it scratched.Someone started to smoke cannabis spreading the smoke into other apartments around 2am or 3am.The management company seems to be abusing the flagging system to shadow ban my review.

Extremely unprofessional and unresponsive.The site representative Cynthia Cui is the worst agent I ever meet. She doesn’t know the most basic information of this building. For example, if the hydro is tiered or time-of-use. For another example, if the electric vehicle charger is paid by hour or amount-of-use.The leasing coordinator Nina Bizjak is very unresponsive. Most of the emails took her between 24hrs to 48hrs to reply on a business day.At last, the companies who are in charge of this building, which are Rego realty and Lexington park realty, have the most arrogant attitude toward student. I felt extreme discrimination towards student during the contact we had.The leasing company which is Lexington park realty pretend they accept applications from everyone including student. However, they make mountains of barriers and hassles to stop students from getting approved. For example, they asked me for a second guarantor because my first one doesn’t have a credit score of “higher than 700”, all while I already have a score of 700+.In one sentence, stay away from this building, Rego realty and Lexington park realty.

Have been paying $125 for parking since first month of occupancy (December).Parking is NOT regulated. Tenants who pay $0 for parking are parking in the $125 spaces. And I don’t blame them.For everyone paying for parking; whether it’s indoor or outdoor we should not be paying. Period.IT. IS. NOT. REGULATED.There are a lot of other cons regarding maintenance and maintenance requests.The pros, however, are the ones I’ve spoken too, have tried their best to help- but I guess it’s not in their hands.
