I recently went to Sinders Bridal in Peterborough with my mom for my first real bridal appointment. Our first appointment got rescheduled due to a family emergency, Lisa who my mom and I spoke to several times was amazing to deal with. She was completely understanding when my next appointment came up, Lisa called me to get an idea of what I liked and they even brought a dress from their sister store in Ottawa for me. Lisa was the perfect bridal consultant. We were welcomed in with warm arms, and Lisa made us feel so at ease. As someone who’s naturally overwhelmed by this type of thing, Lisa took that anxiety away. She was friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, understanding, and it was more like having another friend with you. There was zero pressure at this appointment. My mom and I were truly in amazed at our experience. I ended up saying yes to the dress that day. Lisa was truly amazing to deal with and made this experience amazing and calm. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else! Thanks Lisa!!

Amazing shopping experience! There are lots of dress options and Lisa was amazing every step of the way. She made an effort to listen to my opinion for each dress I tried on and helped me narrow down the selections to find exactly what I was looking for. She even reached out to me before my appointment to understand what my vision was including what my venue looked like. My shopping trip is a memory I won’t forget! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a wedding dress. I look forward to the day my dress arrives!

I can’t say enough great things about Sinders. I found them on google after having little luck at other bridal shops near me in Durham. The quick 30 minute drive up to Peterborough was WELL worth it. Trish was great, made sure I explored every option and silhouette WITHIN my budget which is something the other bridal stores didn’t seem to stick to very well. Lisa was also lovely, they both ensured I had all the details I needed to make a decision. I said yes to my dress and can’t wait to pickup. Highly recommend Sinders!

I had such a great experience picking my dress out with Lisa - I honestly couldn’t be happier. She was so lovely, very professional and without a doubt a expert in her field of work.I was so nervous to try on dresses for the first time and had no idea what to expect but she made me feel so comfortable and looked after - both before the appointment through a phone call (where she spent time chatting to me about my preferences on my dress and who I would be bringing and also during the appointment!) and also during the appointment! She accommodated all of my needs, expertly handpicking a great variety of very high quality styles that suited me so well and she even made extra efforts to provide a phone stand so I could video call friends and family who were abroad to be part of the experience!They were also so open and intentional when it came to the price tags of the dress which I really appreciated - I wasn’t made to try on any dresses that were above my budget. I felt very much like Lisa had my best interests at heart - far above just making a sale!After trying other bridal shops, I ended up coming back to Sinders to buy my dress and I’m so happy with my choice! If you are wedding dress shopping in Peterborough or the surrounding areas, I highly recommend you book an appointment with Sinders Bridal!

I really didn’t want to write a review, but reading a super similar experience at the Carlton location makes me feel like maybe I should share mine here too.Customer service was great it’s nothing like that.. clean and lovely.However, I’d highly recommend to go with your gut on sizing. I tried on a size 8 and fell in love. I could notice it pulling in areas of thigh and back so no brainer thought I’d size up ONE size. I was told multiple times I was a 12 (2 sizes up) and I did voice I didn’t think so.. it was repeatedly and highly recommended by the “sizing chart” I should go with a 12 - “can always go down, harder to go up with alterations”. They had me sign something agreeing to order the 12. The months I waited for the dress to come in I literally lost sleep thinking about it being too big…Fast forward to today, had my alteration appointment and I’m going to spend half the cost of the dress to now bring it down to a size I wanted to order in the first place… I’m furious.Trust your gut folks!

The place was lovely and clean, tons of selection, lots of different dresses. I don't LOVE that they limit the # of people you can bring but it did work out for me and they seemed slightly flexible. I also completely understand why they want to limit. My sales woman was GREAT. She listened to EVERYTHING I said, even when I wasn't talking to her and was anticipating my next question. I was stressed about finding the perfect dress and she made sure it was worry-free! Thanks Sinders

I had an amazing experience at Sinders. Lisa was amazing to work with. Very kind, patient, made me feel really comfortable and I never felt rushed. The store has lots of dresses in all different styles. I was so happy to find my dress in one appointment. So glad this store opened and I was able to get my dress from here! Signing the dress when you say yes to the dress is a really nice touch. Thank you so much Lisa! You really were amazing!

I had a wonderful experience at Sinders Bridal House! Lisa understood the vision for I had for my dress just from our phone consultation. She had picked out a few dresses from our conversation and one which would become the dress". She displayed pure professionalism from the moment I and my guests arrived. She made effortless conversations with my guests while I was trying on dresses and I felt completely comfortable with her help. She was very knowledgable and was able to answers any questions we had. She helped to make what could be an overwhelming decision so relaxing and fun! We all truly enjoyed our experience at Sinders Bridal House and the service that Lisa provided for us. I am so glad I chose their bridal salon and I'm sure you will be glad too!"

I cannot say one bad thing about Sinders. Lisa ran my appointment and she was a dream to work with. She was so helpful and was so mindful regarding budget, dress shipping dates, accessories & styling. She made the entire appointment so easy and fun. I gave her practically nothing to go on with what I was looking for in a wedding dress and it was because of her I found the dress of my dreams in one appointment!I highly recommend Sinders. Great dresses. Great people. They know exactly what they are doing and you will not be disappointed!
