Dr. Edvin Koshi Inc.

I was referred to Dr Koshi for a lower back injury I sustained while in the military. He was the most unhelpful doctor I have ever the displeasure of meeting. After discrediting my previous specialists (surgeon, chiropractor, osteopath, psychiatrist and psychologist) who all played a positive role in my recovery, he went on to criticize the use of medical CBD oil, saying it does nothing for pain is would only cause more anxiety. I begged to differ as it has been a life saver both physically and for the PTSD. In the end he stated my symptoms made no sense to him but that he would still treat me. I declined and left with the intent of never returning. Save your time and energy, there are better, more professional doctors out there. For military members and veterans, this doctor has very little understanding, desire to understand or respect for the physical and mental challenges that comes along with serving our country. If you have the option, find someone else.

After several visits to Dr Koshi I feel very confident I’m recommending him to anyone. He is so down to early, patient and explains everything simply. He cares about his patients and all his staff are excellent. Jackie his receptionist is always pleasant and willing to help or reschedule. Very positive experiences always

I saw Dr Koshi for the first time with the guidance of my family dr and lawyer - both providing great reviews on Dr Koshi’s ability to assess and treat.Jackie, his assistant, was amazing and answered all my questions. The forms were really long so it was great to have her explain a few things.Dr Koshi was very ho eat and upfront with his thoughts and explained things in like.. a non medical way - of that makes sense. I explained everything and just got it. It was so nice to feel heard and feel like my pain was being taken seriously. He had my report done in just a couple days..To say that my visit was life changing would be an underststatement. I wish I would have seen him sooner. I had no idea what physiatry was before this appointment. If you’re ever in an accident - GET ON THE WAITLIST! You won’t regret it. He has so many recommendations that wi help me moving forward in my recovery.

I have nothing but good things to say, he is very personable, usually on time and knows his job well! The spinal injections I have although scary make a huge difference in my quality of life. Thank you Dr. Koshi for being loyal to Halifax, you are a great asset to our community.

Dr.edvin kosher he was put on this earth to help patient with their injuries .very compassionate about his patients and his staff is amazing. a complete quack and works for and does whatever WCB tells him to,had needle put in spine,did nothing to help,did a return visit and was told I could return to work,still today can not walk or do anything

Dr koshi was put on this earth to help people .he will help you if he can and if he can't help he won't waste your time or his. and anyone who knows dr koshi thru treatment will agree and if you call him a quack or a wbc man then you either you had an issue that could not be helped or maybe you were faking your Pain? He is the exact opposite! There is a large diagnostic component to his work as he only wants to freeze or denervate a minimum amount of nerves.so you might have to try several different procedures before he hits the sweet spot I firmly believe Dr Edvin Koshi was put on this earth by God Himself ,,! This wonderful caring man saved my life the pain was unbearable and 2 weeks later 80 plus% reduction in my pain ps the injections do hurt but if you truly have pain then short term pain for long term gain,seems well worth it to me
