一直覺得培養孩子母語是件非常重要的事，但這在英語體系國家實行起來非常不容易，尤其是不希望孩子過分依賴電子用品，但又找不到適合的中文童書。我們經朋友介紹知道Ibookiee，真的很驚艷！書店創始人是一個很有愛，本身有深厚閱讀習慣的媽媽，她也致力培養孩子閱讀中文書習慣，礙於找不到適合管道，決定自己進口中文書籍，並代賣二手書！聊天得知，二手書整理起來非常繁雜耗時，尤其是得一本本內容上線，而且毫無利益可言，但書店老闆希望以身作則，教孩子珍惜資源、愛地球、好物分享，是一個很有願景、心願很大的優良企業！老闆娘所販售的每本書，都是精挑細選，她熟知自己書店裡的每本藏書，並能很好的依照小客人的年紀和喜好做介紹，我們至今已經跟他買了近千元加幣的叢書，每一本，我們都非常喜歡，孩子每次看到新買回來的書，就會拉著我們的手要一起閱讀，那是一種心融化的感受 ❤️This is the perfect bookstore for you and your kids if you'd like to expand your Chinese book collection. The owner started the business hoping to bring more choices of kids books for the local Chinese population. She literally knows every book in her bookstore and can make the best recommendation if you are able to tell her your kids age and preferences. In addition to kids books, she also carries quite an array of books in parenting, self-care, and wellness. She also sells second hand books which is a costly business but she's an environmentalist and she wants to role model for her kids action speaks louder than words. My toddler loves every book we bought and I just love the feeling he holds my hand asking to sit on my laps every time I read to him.
