Home - Port Moody Ecological Society | Noons Creek | Noons Creek salmon hatchery is a 100% volunteer operated facility. We raise Coho and Chum salmon from eggs to fingerlings (young fish) before releasing them during the Fingerling Festival each May for their four-year journey in the Pacific Ocean.

Had a great rainy day adventure here watching the salmon return. They were actively jumping and even saw a blue heron hoping to catch some lunch. Easy parking and trails for anyone. Very close to other trails that connect to rocky point.

Amazing Place to see Salmon swimming up stream to lay their eggs, very easy for kids to see them up close too. The salmon hatchery centre was closed when I stumbled upon it, will definitely come back when it’s open
