PHI BEAUTY BAR
I've been to this salon twice: first time was for bio-gel (aka hard gel) on natural nails and today for a big-gel refill. My nails have never looked better and I have been to pretty much every nail salon in central Ottawa. I waited 3 weeks for my refill and my nails held up and did not break or chip at all during that time. The shellac application on top of the bio-gel is perfect, too. I see Lynn and she does an incredible job. Prices are on average with other places in the city, it's clean, the staff are friendly, and it doesn't feel crowded even when it's busy. I highly recommend checking out this salon.

Usually have great service but not this time. Went in asking for dip nails only to be met with rudeness and judgement for the choice. Once done my nails, they were bumpy and did not look nice (smudged, not even, not the right colour). When asked to fix it, they said they didn't have time and that I would have to book and PAY for another appointment to correct their mistake. I now have to go to another salon to get them fixed and pay for 2 sets of nails 1 day before Christmas!!! Needless to say, they have lost a 5 plus year customer. Stop overbooking and incidents like this could easily be resolved.

I went with Lynn and she was very nice, precise and quick (only took 45-60mins). The place is very cleanly and all the staff were very nice, accommodating and professional. It was quite expensive but she did a great job and my nails lasted over 3 weeks (could have stayed on longer but they were growing out so I removed them).

Love this beauty bar! I’ve never been to a place that pays so much attention to detail! Lynn is the nail queen!!! If you want perfect nails, go see Lynn!!

They are absolutely amazing there! I refuse to go anywhere else! Phillip is extremely talented, sweet and attentive. He’s constantly looking around making sure the salon is in order and clearly a lot of the clients appreciate that. The salon is so clean and I am never worried about hygiene, so if you are nervous about that like I am don’t be. Highly highly recommend.

I first started going to Phi because I appreciated their COVID-19 safety protocols and stayed because of the professionalism and how amazing my nails turn out. I've had Alice and Katie and they are both so meticulous and very friendly. Be ready for people to compliment your nails if you go to Phi :)

Average. Not good nor bad. They offer drinks ( all kinds of tea)))Aweful quick manicure! Literally awful! She did the cuticle with nail drill but looks that she did nothing!! They charged me 88 bucks for this miserable nails.But thanks, I found a great lash maker there. It's probably the best lash set I've ever done. It's worth to go there to make lashes. NOT NAILS, NO WAY. The coverage is uneven & with stripes.

I love PHI! I am so happy to have this gem as my local salon. The staff are all amazing (I’ve been treated by 3 different staff in the various times I’ve been here, all of whom did great work). This place is super clean - the cleanest nail salon I’ve been to. My favourite part is that it doesn’t take forever, they are quick without cutting any corners and I can get a mani / pedi and get out of here in an hour or so - and have great nails!

I am pretty sure I tried at least a dozen salons until I found PHI. Alice is fantastic! Gentle and precise in dip application. My nails always come out looking fantastic. I forgot to mention that she is also a great lash technician. Her eye lashes came out so beautiful. I had a trial set on and they were so natural looking and light. The salon is always clean and staff is pleasant and efficient. I've been getting my nails done here since this summer.

My go to nail salon in Ottawa! I come regularly for dip powder & a pedicure and I’m a happy client every time. My advice would be to book in advance because they do book up quickly!
