I had 3 stays at hospital during my pregnancy. Awesome staff. They care u like a family. And then my babies were at NICU for 2 weeks. They were well cared. I can compare as my babies are at brampton civic now. Not much care of my babies. Very few nurses are good with their duties at brampton.I miss the care my babies were getting at mount sinai.Thank you all doctors, doctor Tim and doctor Ryan and staff

My 20 year old son had a surgery to remove a carcinogenic tumor from his right palate performed by Dr Joel Davies. The surgery went really well and he's healing well since 2 days ago. Before surgery the process was good in terms of explaining how to prepare. A couple of calls to prepare for arrival and for surgery. When we arrived, registration questions and then a nurse came and asked questions, another to verify, a doctor as well and then the anesthetist. After the surgery was done they did let me know it was finished and he was in recovery. Thanks to the doctors and nurses for your care. Shout out to Dr Davies for your hard work to remove the tumour and to nurse Ron who was there for him after it was done. Nurse Ron was hilarious and so down to earth and caring for my son. Thank you!4 stars instead of 5 was only because I was hoping to get a call to let me/us know a bit more about how the surgery went and what was found during. Hoping to receive some more information soon.Very grateful though!Thank you!

Sad to say, this is a new low for hospitals. My mom had to get rushed in to this gem of a hospital so she was taken though emergency. Now emergency is small so I completety understand that only one person can be with the patient at any time. Make sense right? So silly me thinks I'll just got around and wait in the waiting area Infront of the building just after the entrance while my father waits with her. As I'm walking up, I see at least 3 other people just sitting there so seems like it's allowed. I get to the door and get stopped by security" who ask why I'm here

I spent 3 days in the hospital in December and 2 days in March. The care and support was amazing, very attentive. Thank you to the doctors and nurses! The FOOD was awful. How can one get better in the hospital when the food served is so BAD? Some of it was tasteless & inedible, the broth was clearly made with a powdered mix, the cream of whatever soup was tasteless. Please get some decent Montreal bagels!

I went to the emergency last night after work about my stiff neck. The nurse that checked me in just laughed at me about me finding a doctor to “crack my neck.” She made me feel really uncomfortable that I had to leave this bad review and leave the hospital as well. First time I’ve ever experienced that in my life. Lack of empathy. I kept asking her is their any way a doctor can relieve my pain or some sort. She even also over exaggerated the wait times.I ended up leaving and paying an Uber to go to St. Joseph Hospital which assisted me right away. I found out my stiff neck was connected to my tmjd and they prescribed me antibiotics and referred me to a tmjd specialist.I kept telling the person who was checking me in that my stiff neck might be connected to my tmjd. All I told her was I slept long during a flight on Tuesday and she just snapped at me. I even said temporal mandibular joint disorder a few times and she just replies that she has a “stiff neck too.” You don’t ever laugh at a patient.I don’t think I’ll ever step back into this hospital again. It would be my last resort.Worst nurse I’ve ever encountered. I’m not even sure if she is a nurse but she’s horrible. She should really listen to a patients concerns then try to push them away. I’m not surprised their reviews now are low.

Had a DKA. Didn't even know I had diabetes. Spent 5 days in the ICU. Wow. Never even knew what health care could be at that level. Once I became conscious they had my immediate trust. They saved my life and it was an impressive experience, a privilege. We are so lucky to have this hospital (I've been with them for almost 24 years), and the people there who do this everyday.

Their ER is busy so the wait times are long (several hours and depending on your case could take a day for all the testing and evaluations) but they really seem to do their best to provide good care when they do get to you. Their technicians are very experienced. The technician/nurse that did my blood draw is very good. I tend to bruise easily when I have my blood drawn and this technician didn’t make me bruise at all. The ultrasound technician was also very experienced because she knew to ask me to shift my body a little so she can get a better image of a particular spot. I noticed the staff here are extra courteous about understanding that you had a long wait and are apologetic about it whereas in other ERs I have had long waits and nothing was said to acknowledge it. The nurse that first tended to me was helpful in explaining what shesaw and her rationale for decisionsto further refer me for testing. The resident doctor that I eventually saw was patient to answer all our questions.

I came here at 8.00 in the morning, now it's 8.00 in the evening and until now. terribly low level of medicine.everything is very long, I do not blame the doctors. we need to change the system. What we have now doesn't work well.

I am beyond impressed. So clean for so old. They are all calm accommodating. It is the best treatment I’ve ever had at a hospital. Even the people on switchboard oddly kind. Went in 1130am. Seen doc in hour. Blood work and cat scan and follow up. Then iv treatment. I was out by 4pm. The resident training was incredible. Way to go team. I saw the ENT department . Will Be back for my referral.

I have lived in this country my entire life of 55 years . I can tell you the skill of doctors and level of care from the nurses is beyond exceptional. I have never ever experienced a hospital operate with such care and efficiency.I am so humbled by my experience that I intend on making a donation this year .We live in Etobicoke and I hope Trillium Health Partners sends their executes and take note on how a HOSPITAL operates and not a corporation .Going to the right health facility matters and if I need care , this is my top destination .Thank you MT Sinai.
