Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Office

Letter of acceptance to extend my work permit received on March 8, 2022. Work permit still not received as of 06/08/2022... This therefore poses major administrative problems (suspension of pay by the employer, impossibility to renew the SIN or the RAMQ registration, etc.). Be aware that IRCC is nearly impossible to reach (114 minute wait on the phone last time) and they never respond to emails and other online complaints.Unfortunately, I understand that this is extremely regular at IRCC.At the price paid for a simple analysis of 3 documents, a registered letter or at least a follow-up would not be too much!In short, I will not recommend that qualified foreign workers come to Canada for this reason. That's a shame.This rating of 1 star is obviously worth 0 stars!

how many times do i have to call to speak to someone? it's ridiculous when im calling for information on one thing and i get no customer service. how do you people have a job?

My girlfriend’s PR was approved 5 months ago. Why does it take so long to mail the PR card? She’s basically stuck until she gets the card. No information given on what is taking so long. We’ve had to cancel travel plans to visit her family for the first time in 3 years. Pathetic service. You can’t even call or visit anywhere to get any information. They just say they can’t take your call and you can visit by appointment only. Worst service I have ever seen in my life. They’re a joke and should be ashamed of themselves.

I don’t know why you guys need more than 5 month to issue a travel document !? Trying to call , but as usual nobody will pick up the phone or call back , never seen any business with the bad rate like you guys do have.This is a new update : now we are in the first week of Jan 2023 and still yet we didn’t got the travel document !! It’s been a year !! Shame on you .

Did you see a business with an overall 1.5 star rating? No, you have not and you wont - no business with such rating can ever survive. Government agencies are paid by tax payer money, like businesses are paid by their customers. If customers can let businesses go bankrupt, why tax payers have to deal with a government agency with zero accountability? There is something wrong here.

First time I called I managed to get through to someone. Agent #5783 was super helpful and deserves a huge raise after working for an awful place like IRCC.Now you have to listen to 7 minutes of unnecessary garbage that doesnt apply to you from the automated system before you even get the option to tranfer to a real human agent. Only to be told you can't be transferred to an agent due to high demand. And are then hung up on, to have to go through 7 minutes of irrelevant garbage again.I weep for humanity that we think this is the solution to helping people.

NEVER ANSWER PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD, YOU’RE BASICALLY ON YOUR OWN AFTER THE APPLICATION JUST CROSS YOUR FINGERS YOU GET YOU DOCUMENTS WITHIN THAT YEAR IT CAN LITERALLY TAKE 5 YEARS.

I am waiting for my Pr about 2 years that's a long time and I need it cause I need to attend a university and study permit will take long time also I understand everybody is busy but I am very stressed because I don't know what to do and how long to wait I need my Pr to go to University.

Surprised they seem to have no service level. Visa processing time was said to be over 180 days and now that my visa is past that time, they just simply moved it to over 400days. Shameful for a country that claims they want immigrants and want to bring 100s of thousands in to settle.Zero star rating!
