I worked with Brian when I purchased an off grid property in Ontario and needed to identify what was required to provide reliable energy. Brian worked with me to lay out how much energy (kWh) I would need on a daily basis and how best to generate that energy from my site metrics. Solar energy generation varies widely between summer and winter so getting the right set up is key. He made several trips out to my property to be certain how to achieve what I was looking for and was excellent following up when there was a problem. Brian’s firm installed the system and have stood by their design. His team is quick to respond to any issues or questions. His staff is well trained and very competent. Brian is very well versed in off grid solutions. He stands behind his solutions, he makes himself available and he is honest. Brian and I worked together while I was serving as the Director of Commercial Operations at Outback Power Technologies. After launching our Grid Zero Radian in Hawaii with huge success, I was looking for a case study in North America. Brian, having already worked with my team on his off-grid demonstration center, presented a grid zero application for a soap factory in Ontario Canada. The application was perfect and as he completed the installation, we worked together to build the case study and apply for an innovation award at Intersolar, which we won. It is with this experience that I can say Brian is creative, hardworking, collaborative, accountable, honest and simply fun to work with.

I have worked with Brian on many projects but the most exciting was bringing his concept of an Off Grid Demonstration Center to reality, Brian is very passionate about Off Grid education.
