Loon's Landing

I love this place. A wonderful place to sit and chill, have a fire and a drink or two. The grounds are nicely kept and the staff work diligently to keep the community presentable and enjoyable for all their guests. The owner is a great lady who is always just around if you need anything.We had some issues erecting our tent trailer and some of the seasonal campers came to lend a hand. We were rewarded by a great party that evening with live music from some of the locals.Pricing was really great as well. We will most certainly make this an annual spot.

Absolutely amazing place to camp. My family have camped at provincial parks for years and have never such an incredible experience. Camp owner Julie and her staff are extremely inviting and accommodating, and all the seasonal campers are extremely friendly, making you feel right at home. The transient sites are well maintained, the bathrooms are clean, and there is load of activities available for kids and adults of all ages. They even deliver firewood to your site everyday upon request.The camp ground is also directly on the French river, which offers some of the best fishing in the province.We went to loons landing on a whim, and left customers for life!

Julie and Darrel of Loons Landing are amazing hosts!The scenery at their park is well worth the visit. You can watch the sunrise over the lake. At night, you are surrounded by a million stars.They have boat rentals for fishing or pleasure. Our son especially loved swimming in the lake.

Facilities are old, outdated, overpriced.Owners are miserable and speak negatively of guests to other guests.I refuse to support a business that does not value or respect their guests.

I fully recommend staying here. Cottages are clean and rates are reasonable. Everyone I've met has been super friendly and the overall environment is pleasant. They are welcoming of pets too! If you're there for fishing the river there is bait available right on the grounds. My husband and I have now been twice and will continue visit. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of staying up at Loons Landing for a week long Muskie trip and the fishing was AMAZING! Being located right on the French river the scenery was beautiful and finding these big fish was just minutes away from the dock. Julie was a fantastic hostess making our trip very comfortable and enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Loons Landing for a great fishing experience!

What an amazing stay! My family and I stayed here for a few days after my grandmothers funeral. We grew up camping with her and thought it would be a nice way to remember her. End of September had some pretty amazing colour changing happening with the trees. We loved the cold nights and campfires.Loon’s Landing has boat rentals which we used, French river was amazing to cruise on and do some leisure fishing..even if we didn’t catch anything!The regulars were warm and friendly and if we needed anything, firewood, information local food you just had to ask!Would most definitely recommend visiting to anyone who loves camping and look forward to coming back!

Great place been going there for years good people good fishing

Hi there, just spent 2 nights at Loon's Landing. The cottage we stayed in has been updated with a new bathroom and furniture throughout. Very clean and comfortable! Julie is awesome and there whenever you need her. Cell phone reception is great with no issues. French River is beautiful here. Can't wait to go back!!
