Very beautiful place not just due to the cityscape view but also for the nature around. Can be visited at any time of the day. I like to visit late noon and stay till dark when I can. Feels beautiful to see the city light up from above. Has different feels in different seasons. Can be slippery and icy at places in winter, so proper shoes are important.

Nice hike up to a viewpoint. (Lots of stairs)It was cloudy on our walk, which we appreciated for the hike. The view was still nice, even if not perfectly clear. Wonderful to have a bit nature in the city!

One of the best view on Montreal’s downtown. If you visit the city it’s a must see. On road to the Belvedere you have the second biggest cemetery in North America and the Mont Royal park. Toilets and coffee shop are available.

Montreal's Mount Royal Park is known for its popular lookouts situated on the hill. One of the largest lookouts is the belvedere Kondiaronk, which requires climbing approximately 400 steep steps to reach the top. However, it's worth noting that this viewpoint does not offer a panoramic view of the entire city skyline. For visitors to Montreal, hiking on Mount Royal is a must-do activity. While the climb can be bit challenging, the park's scenic trails and natural surroundings make it a worthwhile experience. So, if you enjoy hiking and exploring nature, a visit to Mount Royal Park should definitely be on your itinerary.

We visited 17 years ago and came back for the first time this week. Such a nice place to visit. The view is great and the walk from the parking lot is easy. Lots of people running and biking the trail in addition to those just coming for the view. There are public restrooms and a water fountain inside. Park in the lot for the park and walk up (maybe 10 minutes at a leisurely pace).

You can either walk up the stairs or do the winding path ( not as steep). Well worth the effort for the panoramic view that awaits you. Breathtaking if you make it at sunset. I descended on the path to the west which leafs to Beaver Lake. Be warned you cannot drive to the top.

The is one of the places you must go if you are in Montreal. You can go in two different ways: taking the 11 bus (Snowdon & Mont-Royal Stations) or climbing the stairs up to the place which is a little difficult and exhausting. The view of the city is incredible and super relaxing at the same time. Even though Montreal is a small city (compared with Toronto), when you’re there you can appreciate how big it is and the whole different places you can visit.I went multiple times with friends and always was a nice experience and a good memory-maker place. Also watching the city at night is beautiful.

Awesome lookout point to view the city, feeling out of the city while still within the city. Walking distance from public transit. As an important note, I walked from Peele station. There was apparently various ways to go up: saw some bikes and another route on the other side.Hike" to the top is straightforward and easy from Peele station. Path is very well maintained and built - its literally steps and handrails and not a hike. Think stair master. There is a building at the top

Beautiful skyline of Montreal. There's a bus (bus 100) that goes into Mt. Royal Park that makes the view accessible to see.On the other side of the park, you will have to climb lots of stairs.Locals come to work out, tourists come to sightsee, nature is constantly giving.
