T & A Nail Salon

This is my third bad experience with this business . All three pedicure appointments made on the phone, days before , were confusing and difficult . I made the appointment for two people ( my daughter and I ) . When we arrived we were told it was for one person , even though I had confirmed 2 people in every appt.I’ve also had nicks each time which is not common in the first place but this last time I was cut quite badly in two places . My daughter also, was treated roughly and still has a sore toe a week later . I was also blamed that it was my fault after the pedicurist sprayed alcohol in the area and I jumped from the sting ! She claimed it was “ already there “ and scowled at me . I was very disappointed and will not return here . My cut is now infected as well.

Really friendly, reasonably priced, my stiletto nails turned out stabby and perfect!

We came for a group team day experience and had the best nail treatments. Would definitely come back.

They tried to cancel my 1:00 appointment 15 minutes before my arrival!! I was already in the parking lot, Luckily they took me on as a client after we spoke in person because I had a wedding to go to and I honestly wish they didn’t. They were very rude and short with the customers including myself and when she did my french manicure incorrectly ( filed down the acrylic way too much to where my nail was transparent and could see the white tips underneath from the top of my nail ) she blamed me for not liking them and got very angry when I asked if we could do anything to correct it.At the start of the appointment she suggested we use a light pink acrylic powder and then blamed me for the poor quality nails and gaslit me by saying that I shouldn’t have chose that powder. To say that to someone who puts their trust into a “professional” who has experience in nails where as I know nothing. Is unbelievably rude and inappropriate. If she knew the outcome would be uneven transparent nails she should never have suggested we use coloured dip powder.I gave a photo reference as to what I wanted there should have been no confusion. I only wish I got a photo of before they were fixed. You can still see where they covered up the transparent nail. Not perfect-but good enough for my wedding this week.Cleanliness was a huge issue as well. I noted gloves not being changed between clients and nail tools like clippers and trimmers being tossed back into drawers after being used. Definitely not sanitized after each client.Saddened to say that I would never suggest anyone to use this business…** photo attached are afterthey were “fixed” **

Amazing service, super affordable and talented nail artists! Will be driving from Whistler from now on for their service. Massage chairs to are a nice touch!

Service is great. Massage chairs are wonderful. I’m always impressed with my pedicure when I go.

My daughter and I started our spa day here. It was amazing! The ladies did a great job. I was so relaxed from the massage chaiir I agreed to orange toenail polish. Highly recommend T & A Nail Salon when you are in Squamish!

I booked 2 schellack manicures for 5pm. I sat at 5:15 and my niece sat at 5:45.The stations are dirty, kinda gross.The major ick was that she didn’t clean around the nails with acetone while she was painting them, and we heated it.The nail lady said “we don’t use acetone for schellack.” I was baffled when she grabbed the cuticle remover and file to cut/file the polish around my nails.She didn’t paint to the bottom of the nails and said schellack needs a space at the bottom. Only on one hand though?I’m not an expert but I had to tell her to do it better. As she was repainting, I told her “now you use the acetone to remove your mess.” She did, I couldn’t say “I told you so” but I did say “see, that’s better.”Just don’t go there, if you expect a real manicure. They didn’t bother cleaning my nails or removing the leftover polish from my previous, fabulous manicure.Color is not what I had seen on the palette. Too many no’s.

My mom and I went here for a double pedicure last week. We actually made an appointment for TWO days beforehand and called to confirm as well. When we got there, they thought it was just one of us and got upset that there were two of us. Once she said it was okay and that they can do it, she went off in her language clearly complaining about the fact that there were two of us and it would put them behind. Disclaimer: I have nothing against them speaking their own language but it was clear she wasn’t being professional when we were right in front of her. During our pedicure, my mom got her skin scraped off in three different places and when she told the pedicurist about it, the lady told her that someone else did it instead of apologizing! My lady threw the tools on the cart which made it so unsettling each time she used it and was not gentle at all with me. I would not say the prices are fair enough with the experience. We came to have a relaxing pedicure but we will never go back.

I was in the area and badly needed my nails done before an event that weekend so I called and a lady named Angel said they’d squeeze me in as their last gel mani of the day.The ladies were all lovely and my nails were done with care. I remarked at how much I appreciated how gentle my manicurist was being with the dremel as she filed away the dregs of my last manicure - it usually burns my nail beds but not this time, so that was nice.All in all, I was happy with the job they did - my nails looked great! - but my first impression wasn’t anything overly remarkable. It’s a pretty standard nail salon, nothing fancy. This is 5 weeks later that I’m writing this review because I’m AMAZED at how well this mani has lasted!! Yes, they’re grown out and I’m seriously due for a refresh but they haven’t chipped once! I am a mural artist and I work with my hands - my nails end up being my handy-tools and I wash my paint brushes and dishes without gloves on, which often leads to peeling and chipping of the gel/shellac… but not this time! I’m beyond impressed with the lasting power, whether they’re using superior product or my lady just did a superior job, whatever the case, I’m blown away. I file to smooth the edges once a week but that’s it for maintenance. Normally I have to cut them back frequently between visits to the salon or else they get jagged, but the quality of this manicure has been unreal. I’ll be going back to T & A! And soon, lol - my nails are so healthy and strong that they’ve grown into veritable claws. I’d say that’s a good problem!
