I've been eating here for years and have unfortunately noticed it slowly going downhill.The service was incredibly slow, the employees did not seem like they knew what they were doing, nor did the seem like they wanted to be there. I hope it was just a bad day for them, because this is the first time it's been quite that bad.I ordered a broccoli cheddar rice bowl, they scraped the soup out of the bottom of the soup bin, it was cold and had been cooked to the sides and just not very good, it was so cold that the cheddar they added did not even melt. They immediately put in a new pot of piping hot soup, and could have given me fresh soup, but chose not to.While this isn't necessarily the norm that I've experienced, each experience has been progressively worse over the last year or so. Keeping in mind we are just barely post pandemic, I will definitely give them one more try at some point. If the experience is better, I will update this review.

Not today. 4/21/23 1 hour before close soup is barely warm. Asking for a tip, I asked if they were closing early! Staff have other things to do clearly and shut down early. We have on occasion had good experiences here. Quality has dropped slightly when compared to years ago. The food is great , but better when soup is warm. Still a good spot.

This has been our go to spot for lunch but today our opinion has changed significantly. We got chicken Cubans and there are bones, large veins and cartilage in here that makes it completely inedible. We have gotten the pumpkin bacon soup previously and it was puréed, but today it was full of huge onions and potatoes. When I called to inquire about this I was brushed off saying the chicken is all white meat from a supplier and the soup always is like that (but I had gotten it before and it wasn’t)

I’ve visited this location a few times usually for there evening specials. The customer service is always great with very friendly and attentive staff. I was compelled to finally leave a review after I stopped in for lunch last week. The lady behind the counter was so friendly, she made a genuine attempt at talking and connecting with the customers.The resultant was clean, tidy and condiment bottles were clean.I had a soup and sandwich combo which was enough food for two meals. They do sampling’s if you ask, but make sure to ask if they add anything in after you pick your soup. They have a selection of cheese, noddles, and vegetables they add accordingly to your soup after you order which is a fantastic way to keep your veggies and middles from turning into mush.Would recommend if you are looking for a inexpensive, clean and quite place to grab lunch.

I ordered a large chicken BBQ sandwich and tomato soup and a berry smoothie. I ordered a large tomato soup for my wife. The sandwich had hot sauce, not bbq. The smoothie had so many pits you got a mouthful every sip. The soup tasted awful. Neither of us ate the soup. This was very strange as we had ordered from here many times in the past and it was always excellent food and smoothies. Not sure what happened as the order came quickly.

Food is very good. Did not rate the atmosphere as Commissioners Road location is under renovation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Imho best Jambalaya to go I've found. Broccoli cheddar was delicious. Cheesy. Both perfect with a small Corned Beef sammie. Considering the cost of things now, seems like a bargain for dinner. Definitely will be back.

The food was incredible, we each got a different soup and sandwich and everything was delicious. Everything tasted homemade and yummy and the soup was HOT and Fresh. We were there at about 2pm on Friday.The service was a little confusing, you order soup, then pay, then they make your sandwich. The sandwich artist must've been having a bad day because I said I love that the extra olives in the paper around the sandwich" in complete I LOVE EXTRA OLIVES

Mushroom soup was decent, bun was delicious and soft. Ordered on door dash and had no issues, soup was still fairly warm. There were other ingredients in the cream of mushroom than what is traditional, I'm not sure what, I think onions for sure. Didn't bother me was still yummy. No crackers in the bag though, that should be standard.
