Best barbers in town no question about it!!!

Went in for a haircut downtown location in 2017, very curious staff but the haircut was very juvenile and took a long time. The barber seemed fairly new at her job, then she proceeded to tell me she had never had any formal training. I just chalked it up to a new business. However I returned this year to the rock forest location for a hot shave. Ive had a few, and they're extremely relaxing and rejuvenating, so I thought. He stared with a quick trim with the clippers, all good. Then used an electric razor to take down the stubble, I never use an electric razor so this irritated the hell out of my skin, and have never had this before a hot shave. Then came the hot towels which were fine, but then this kind of blew me away, he used cold shaving gel after the hot towels. On top of that he was pretty nervous, it took way too long, my face was cold, he ended up cutting me twice and granting the skin under my nose. Then told me that he had only see this done twice in the last 6 months of his employment.From the other reviews I see there are some talented people in this company but its defiantly not consistent. This is not the employees fault, I tip him but I told him I wasn't happy. Its a management issue of not ensuring staff are properly trained, and with a hot shave this is a must.
