I went through Scotia Personnel to au pair with Au Pair in America. Richelle and Marilyn were unbelievably supportive and helpful throughout the entire application process and continued to check in with me while I was in my au pair year in New York City, making sure that everything was going well and that I had everything I needed. Scotia Personnel made sure to provide me with all the information and resources I needed to make sure that my time as an au pair was seamless and enjoyable.Since returning home from au pairing, Scotia Personnel has continued to reach out to me with new and exciting opportunities and has now facilitated my getting a nanny job in a new city. I am so thankful for the opportunities that they have provided me with and for all the love and support I have received from Richelle and Marilyn along the way. I worked with Scotia Personnel this past year to go to Mallorca, Spain as an English Tudor. I can honestly say that it was the best experience of my life! The agency was very helpful in finding an amazing host family for me and they guided me every step along the way when getting ready for my trip. While I was a little nervous to go to Europe on my own and meet the family I would be staying with for a few months, I felt very safe and prepared for my journey. My time in Spain was absolutely amazing, I was able to learn some Spanish and I gained a lot of independence. I have formed such an incredible bond with my family over there, I still talk to them all the time! I will definitely be going back to visit them some day. Applying to work with Scotia Personnel was one of the best decisions of my life. I have only been home a couple months and I am already excited to see where I can go next summer!! I would recommend this type of experience to any young person who is up for adventure and is looking for some life defining experiences. I found this agency very useful, professional and well organized. I used their help 2 times so far. Basically, I've been working with this agency since 2014. This was the first year I found them through internet. I used their help first for an opportunity in USA, and then for England. And right now I am in the process for the next opportunity!Richelle and Marilyn are the two that really helped me with the 2 different programs. From the day one until the end of the journey, they were helping me with everything(passports, appointments, visa, job overseas, accommodation, cellphone etc). They are both very professional, communicate with me very well, they are funny, human and lovely to speak with.They are very motivated by their work, so its an honour to work with them. I had an amazing experience with Scotia Personnel and the Au Pair in America program. Richelle was extremally helpful throughout the entire process of applying. Richelle made applying easy and I would highly recommend using Scotia Personnel. I worked right outside of Washington D.C. for a year and got to experience so many new things. Richelle continued to check up on me throughout the year to make sure I had everything I needed and that I was doing well. If I were to apply to another program I would definitely do it through Scotia Personnel.

I went through Scotia Personnel to come to the UK on a hospitality program, and both Marilyn and Rochelle were so helpful and kind through everything! I had a lot of worry about moving overseas and starting a whole new job, getting a visa and going through all of the processes of temporary immigration. Having the guidance and step by step help from Rochelle was a lifesaver when it came to the visa and bank issues I had. And Marilyn is absolutely the sweetest, checking in on me and making sure my move was as seamless as it could have been. Any time I had a question even while being in the UK, I knew I could have contacted them and they would have helped me out immediately.Just a few months ago while I was at the hotel I'm working at, Marilyn actually came for a visit and she was just lovely, we got to chat about my experience and she offered to help me in any future endeavors.I csnt recommend them enough! I have gone through other agencies before like this, but we're nowhere near the level of professional Scotia Personnel was. Anywhere else I want to go, I'd definitrly want to go through them. I got to travel so much as well during my time here, I've seen so many countries and met so many people, without Scotia none of that would have happened.♡♡♡ cannot thank them enough.

I have had wonderful experiences with Scotia! My first placement with Scotia was at a summer camp in England. This was my first trip over seas, and as I was going alone I was quite nervous. Scotia was extremely helpful every step of the way, from helping with my visa, bank account, and even connecting me to other travelers from my area. I had an incredible summer, and was quick to sign up again, and I went to Italy through Scotia two years later. I had the same easy experience as Scotia guided me through the process once again. I have recommended Scotia to many friends, and all of them have had wonderful times in England, Switzerland, Italy, and Bermuda. Marilyn especially is extremely helpful, and we have kept in touch over the years

AustraliaI got the opportunity to live in Sydney for 6 months. At the beginning, I didn't know anything about the country. It was the first time I was leaving my family and my friends for so long.I got a good connection with my host family and learned a lot from them. I loved my two sweet little australiens, I'm still in touch with them and I hope to see them soon.The moment when everything changed for te best is when I did the surfcamp, it lasted one weekend in bendalong. This experience gave me the opportunity to meet wonderful people. It's at this moment that I fell in love with the ocean. Traveling gives you the chance to grow up. I met people who gave me the opportunity to keep traveling.I saw wonderful landscapes like beaches, cities, deserts, bushes etc. In Australia, there is a lot of diversity. The animals are amazing too, every day you wake up with an amazing birdsong's.It taught me to be more relax and to live in the present. It brought me wisdom and curiosity. I have the intention to come back in australia to keep exploring it and see my host family again. It wasn't my last trip but the beginning of a long adventure. Scotia Personnel is a great company to work with. For my first time being a part of the Au Pair program I couldn't ask for better team of people to help me along the way. Richelle helped me with every step and made it very smooth and excitable process from start to end . I got to experience living in California because of them and took a road trip from one side of American to the other after my program ended it was a experience of a lifetime. I would for sure work with them again in my future adventures as it wouldn't of been possible without them. if your looking for a fabulous team to get you started on your next adventure these are the ones to help. At first I thought this program was great, and it's true that they did help me find a job and help with the visa process.. but where they have lost me is the lies I was told before and after paying the program fee. I was told before applying and paying the fee that rent and food would be taken care of by Scotia Personnel and that I would not be paying for either. This is a blatant lie. The rent that needs to be paid for my job's accommodation gets taken off of my pay check.. so I'm essentially paying for my rent, not Scotia Personnel. Also food is not included as they told me, I only get one staff meal WHILE I'M WORKING (not on my days off) and only once a day at 5pm. I normally don't leave reviews cause I'm just lazy but I thought so should share this as all I'm seeing are 5 star reviews so I don't want anyone to be disappointed like I was if they end up having this same experience.
