Thanks to Dan and all the staff at Fish Tales for the insane amount of help they have provided me. Getting back into fly fishing, especially trying out two handed casting was a challenge to fully commit to, but the staff have been super helpful and made me feel comfortable deciding on gear. Fishing has been a great activity for me after work and their help I'm grateful for. Thanks guy!

Kid told me on the phone the entire skeena river is classified all year, which would mean $200 of licensing for a 10 day trip as a non resident that I didn't need. And that I would need to go into the store to buy my license. Can't imagine how many people have been ripped off in this manner. I'm all for paying license fees. Not when I don't have to though!!!

I was visiting Terrace for work,wanting to try salmon fishing for the first time. Having no idea my friend and I went to Fish Tales, there we met Dan. We were told what to use , how to use it and where to go. No bull ,no pushy sales , just honest information. Dan has the knowledge and experience and is more than willing to share. We caught our first salmon and had an amazing trip thanks totally to Dan. Incredible store for fishing enthusiast especially fly fishing. The location is so low key as its part of a gas station.. but its unbelievable!! Huge selection of items to make your own flies and stuff I've never seen before. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm so glad I stopped in here ... while getting gas. I will be visiting the online store a lot in my future.

I stopped in to this nice fly shop a lot during my week of fishing in Terrace. They always had good advice and hooked me up with my licenses-just do it the day before as they open at 9 am. Good selection of intruder flies, lines and clothing. This is my go to shop when in Terrace.

Visiting terrace hoping to catch a salmon, I had no idea what I needed or where to go. Spoke with Dan and he was absolutely awesome very very knowledgeable. Took time to show me how to tie proper knots got me the gear I NEEDED and not the stuff I didn’t. Showed me a few great spots to fish. I will only ever come here when back in this area 100% fabulous service from Dan.
