Working with Ian was amazing. We did a family / mat lifestyle session. Everything about it felt very natural, not forced or rushed. Ian was extremely professional, patient (having a toddler and a dog in the shoot is not easy) and easy going. It's clear to see and feel that he loves what he does. I recently had an outdoor shoot with Ian. This guy is talented and certainly stands out from the rest because of his work. Most importantly Ian is easy to work with and will go above and beyond to make sure you get what you are looking for. In my case Ian not just helped me with my outfit selection but also made sure that I am comfortable with my looks and locations throughout the shoot. Ian was hands down the BEST photographer we could have gotten, there is not a single thing that could have gone better...in other words he was perfect! We are so happy with our pictures, and I know you will be too if you get then with Ian. He is reasonably priced, very professional, easy to work with, makes you feel at ease, and does a fantastic job with editing. In the booking process he was great at communicating and addressing questions, etc. as well.

I cannot overstate what a fantastic photographer Ian was for our wedding, in every aspect you could hope for. He was creative, funny, easy-going, kind, talented, a great communicator, and so good with capturing the energy + feel of the wedding.When it came to shooting the wedding itself, he made us feel confident in his ability to capture great moments, while still being so receptive to taking any shot we wanted on the spot, and even changing up plans. It's really clear Ian really takes into account the personality of the couple he's shooting, and he never made us feel uncomfortable with any of it. The couples portraits were a perfect combo of more organized (but not awkward!) shots and candid moments/things we wanted to do. Like perfect example: we wanted to get ice cream during the photoshoot, right before the reception, and Ian not only went along with the idea, but managed to get behind the ice cream counter to get shots of us ordering + eating our dessert. We also found out the day of the wedding that there was going to be a kite festival on the location we were planning to do essentially all of our group shots at, and instead of shying away from the large crowds and kites, ian incorporated them into the shots in a BEAUTIFUL way. We were so freakin' ecstatic.And then there's the editing. One of the reasons we chose Ian to begin with was because of how he brought out the heart of the moment in the editing; the photo's aren't over-edited to fit a certain aesthetic or style, but rather, it feels like every one is tailor-made to the shot and the couple. For some shots, Ian left the crowds in. For others, he took them out. He edited a few shots to make it look like my veil was thrown up by the wind, flying with the kites. Aaaaand he also left in the original photo where it's very clear my brother is throwing my veil up, and it's SO hilarious I loved it.There is so much laughter and life in our photos, and I'm so happy Ian was there to capture it.Long story short, go with Ian. We couldn't have chosen a better photographer. We'll cherish these moments for the rest of our lives:)

My partner and I wanted some photos taken, so I came across Ian's website, and I am so glad I did! Ian is as professional as he is kind and friendly -- all of which are qualities you want in a photographer. Ian made our shoot fun, memorable, and unique. He even brought along some speakers and played some tango music as we told him we take tango lessons. If you're looking for a photographer who makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, takes you to great locations for shoots, and delivers photos to you quickly, then Ian is your guy!
