Chef Malcolm's Handmade Pies

First visit, picked up 2 pies: tried one beef and onion, 1 mushroom swiss burger. Both really great, mushroom swiss for the win! I plan to try all of the flavors eventually. Awesome business!

Chef Malcom creates the most delicious pies, pasty’s and pastry goods! The most buttery flakiest pastry you will ever have! If you are an ex-pat looking for a taste of ‘home’, or just a foodie looking for the best pies in Saskatchewan this is the place to go. Also look out for his Ploughmans Lunches.. all it needed was a pint of beer and I was back home in the pub garden! Pay him a visit, you will not be disappointed!

Well this saved me a trip to UK.Malcolm makes outstanding genuine British meat pies and my favorite, Cornish pasties.Various savoury fillings in both pies and pasties. Rich fillings pastry is buttery and very well seasoned.This is a must place to pick up lunch and or take home for supper.Awesome job Chef ,I'll be back .

Fabulous Pies! My husband and I bought some pies. We have eaten one of them, Cheese burger, it was so delicious! We had some left overs and it was even good cold the next day. I am so very happy with the pies that I'm going to add it to our regular meals at home. I had my pie with mashed potatoes and gravy...I didn't even need the gravy because the pie was so moist. Thank you Malcolm's Handmade Pies! My one and only critique would be to have a list of pies on the wall at the shop. We were kinda playing a guessing game at the counter. We were done our purchase and found out there were other pies...next time :)

I dont think you will find better pies and such anywhere in Canada. The service is warm, personable and overall great. The scotch eggs are to die for. My grandson ripped open the box this morning as soon as i walked in the door. (So did my wife)Al McDonald

Absolutely the best meat pie I have every eaten. The crust is flaky and the whole thing is filling and delicious. Really enjoy the options, both for fillings and for size. Great comfort food and you will not regret it. Shop is nice and small and clean, and always friendly!

I thought the crust was nicely flaky and there was a generous amount of filling but I was very very disappointed in the lamb, pea and mint filling as the mint completely overwhelmed every other flavour. I could not taste the lamb or peas or carrots or crust. I like mint, often drink mint tea, but I think you have to be careful when cooking to not have one flavour utterly overwhelm all the others.

I’m British, love me a pie. Sad to say I didn’t have a decent pie ever in Canada, until now. Chef Malcolm’s pies are delicious! You’ve made an ex Pat very happy, awesome product!
