Purchased book on Amazon, did not come with e code. Book was never shrink wrapped as they claim!!!! Can't seem to get this resolved for my daughter's class. Paid good money what the heck?!!

there is no way to contact the store (other than email).the phone system is garbage. totally customer unfriendly.not recommended

I ordered college textbooks for my son and they still have not arrived or even been shipped weeks and weeks later, though they state they will be shipped within a few days. I've canceled my order and am awaiting a refund. Terrible company. If you can't fulfil an order, it should be stated immediately on the website.

I had a great experience. They were very friendly, they helped me through their Facebook page and I got a great deal!

Never meet their stated shipping times of 5 business days . An access code I ordered last Monday - 5 days ago- claims it shipped 3 days later yet Canada post says only a shipping label has been created. Explain to me why they need to ship me a hard copy piece of paper to give me a code to access a book online? Should have bought from the publisher website. Try to call customer service and can never get through. Pre COVID we always just picked up our orders at their store but now this option doesn’t exist anymore. And so I’m being charged $10 to ship a piece of paper 20km and it is taking them over 5 days to get it to me. In June it took them 3 weeks to ship a hard copy book same distance - I guess because Canada post was so messed up but no option was given to pick up or to use a different delivery company. I wish this business would become more customer focused and more innovative.

Have books listed for a specific price on their cite, you think you’ve lucked out. They email you days later when you paid extra for faster shipping saying what you’ve purchased is out of stock and the same thing but better used condition is 8x what you’ve already paid for.This store is disgusting.

Buyer beware. Do not purchase from this seller on Amazon. They charge a 20% restocking fee. There is no mention of this when you purchase. I paid for shipping, and I dropped off the return at their office in Mississauga. The lady was unhelpful and curt. Their website description is inaccurate, but they won't give back the restocking fee.

So the website has hung on processing the transaction for 15 minutes now. Similar reports from others. Not surprising since the site is coded in old APSX files. I can't believe my kid's school uses this garbage.

I have been ordering books from Canadian School Book Exchange for eleven years.I'm sorry to see a negative review posted here, and I simply cannot imagine that they deserve it.They've always been exceptional with me. They are easy to do business with, organized, helpful, and - most importantly - local. I highly recommend them.

While the books that I received were in good condition, I have never completed a transaction with this organization without there being a problem. If there were any other way for me to get my textbooks, I would go with it because I have had nothing but headaches when dealing with these people. Every time I call to ask about my account credit, I get a different answer as to how the situation is being handled. I've had to call 4 times over one issue and it still hasn't been dealt with.
