Nice Italian Cafe. Little pricey, but good. Have sugar free vanilla syrup. That's a bonus. Coffee is good. Atmosphere is pretty. Can overlook Stephen Avenue out the window. Busy.

Caffé Trieste is a relaxing oasis in Calgary's busy downtown core. The ambiance is casual yet elegant. There are no hot plates, but the menu of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches have an authentic Italian flavour and freshness. The interior features comfortable leather couches as well as tables with café chairs. The crystal chandeliers add to the ambiance. The window looks down on a busy Stephen Avenue intersection yet remains private at this height. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. There are 'dolce' desserts for purchase as well. There aren't many cafés around that will serve Brunello di Montalcino by the glass! Bellissimo! Access is on the third level of the CORE shopping centre.

A cozy, classy place for a coffee date and quiet reading. If you’re lucky to be seated by the window, watching the bustle of cars in downtown is a treat and will inspire your to jot down a poem or two.

Cute cafe with nice service. If you can eat there, they have a really nice view of downtown that's nice and private. They sell food and drinks so you can lunch or have a meeting. The food is really gluten heavy though so if you have allergies be cautious.

Terrific place to take a laptop and work downtown. Delicious food and coffee, friendly staff who engage in cool conversations, great decor, beautiful chandeliers, wonderful city skyline views!

Mine and my husband's go to cafe when in downtown Calgary's Core! I love having the caramel/chocolate latte or dulce latte they're so incredibly smooth and delicious! The staff are mature, polite, and talented at preparing the drinks. In the wine glass is an iced cafe latte that I've found very refreshing!

THE BEST!! I can not say enough how much I love this place. The décor, the photos of places in Italy (brought back memories of when I lived there for more than 8 years) to their coffee, which is THE BEST!! The coffee, the espresso or latte is so smooth and full of flavor, you will not be disappointed if you try this place. Super convenient because it is in the downtown Calgary Core shopping center, stop in while out and about doing your shopping for a relaxing coffee... my husband and I do this every Saturday afternoon but to be totally honest... Caffe Trieste is the only reason why we go to the Core Shopping Center, it is our favorite place!! AND... the staff are super friendly and helpful. What more to love, right!!

Amazing little cafe in the core. It used to look intimidating to me because it seemed very fancy (which it is), but once you go in you are always greeted by very friendly staff. The condensed milk latte is one of my favourites. Worth the trip to the trip up the mall!!
