Skull and Lotus Tattoo

My mom, sister and myself had a great experience here! Was my mom and sister’s first tattoo and all the staff were welcoming and supportive. Our artist Sherry was absolutely amazing!! Friendly and considerate. She did such an amazing job, beautifully done tattoo, her fine line work is incredible. Shop is super clean, with great seating areas for waiting, and overall cool vibe. This is my second tattoo from this shop and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks again Sherry!

My mum and I had a wonderful experience at Skull & Lotus for our tattoos with Lisa (@jiggystackss). We were greeted at the door by a friendly face who helped get us all checked in and consents signed etc.The shop itself is huge! Super bright and clean. Throughout our stay we saw team members diligently cleaning the work spaces, and it was clear to see sterile/single use items in the shop for tattooing. Lisa was so lovely to work with, and took great care of us - it was my mum’s very first tattoo and we felt she and the team went the extra mile to help her feel comfortable about the decision; they even popped on some great tunes for her!Thank you Lisa and the Skull & Lotus team for such a great tattooing experience!Mary & Lynda

Skull and Lotus has become my go to spot for tattoos. I live out of town but the quality of work, the friendliness and the professionalism make it worth the drive and worth every penny. From the first time I walked in I was immediately greeted and felt very welcome. My experiences and interactions with everyone here have been so positive it makes the process super easy. My artist has been Stephen (eyeseedraws) and MASSIVE shout out to Stephen for the incredible work and designs he creates. I am obsessed with every piece he has done on me and I can't wait to have more of his amazing creations tattooed.As for all of the other artists that work here they also offer incredible pieces ranging in all different styles. This shop is truly the place to be if you are wanting to get a tattoo done. If you live in Calgary and haven't been here yet you are sleeping on it and missing out. If you live out of town it is 100% worth the trip.Thank you Skull and Lotus for being such an amazing shop I look forward to seeing you all soon! :)

Lisa is amazing! She is so personable and easy to work with! She designed the piece perfectly and I am so happy with how my tattoo turned out! Her staff is extremely kind and welcoming! I felt completely comfortable when I came to the shop! I rate it a 10/10 experience! I am booked in September to have Lisa continue work on my sleeve!!! I can't wait!!!!

I’ve gotten almost all of my tattoos from Lisa and I have never been disappointed! She takes her work very seriously and always does an incredible job. She really brings my visions to life even when I send her the most abstract ideas. She’ll work with you to design something you love and make it look beautiful! Her books fill up fast for a reason so I 100% recommend waiting for these tattoos because they’re amazing!

Sherry did my tattoo and helped get the design I wanted. It is perfect, she did an amazing job and it was only an hour. She was friendly and very in tune with what I was asking for. She made sure I was happy from beginning to end. I can ot rave enough about her and would recommend her to anyone I know.

My first experience with Skull and Lotus was at the Calgary tattoo convention. I got a piece done by Brendan (@yamada_tattoo) and immediately fell in love with his work. I’ve returned to their shop twice now to get two more pieces done by him. Each time has been an amazing experience. He’s always good to chat with and makes the tattoo process more enjoyable. The shop has a very unique atmosphere and everyone there is always friendly. They have an amazing little chill spot for you or any guests you bring along. I’ve recommended the artists there and their services to anyone I get a chance to talk to, definitely a must visit place for anyone interested in tattoos.

I have been to Skull and Lotus a few times to see Lisa and I always come away with the best experience, and now have a collection of my favourite tattoos. She just makes you feel so welcome and her art style is absolutely gorgeous, I always get compliments on the fine line work and how well it heals and holds up. Definitely a top tier shop, the whole atmosphere is very easy going and such a cool space. I will definitely keep coming back and I wait for my next one!
