Very good place for a breakfast with your loved ones. Delicious coffees and try their croissant with smoked salmon - it’s awesome! Nice and friendly staff!

Tldr: badly baked food, no regards for covid regulations, expensive.Edit: price from $3.25 to $3.67I've been on a hunt for good a good butter croissant across the city and I was quite excited to visit this cafe considering the reviews. But I was utterly disappointed.I went in and there wasn't anyone, so I said hello and waited. A nice man showed up from another room, but without a mask. I stepped away to keep social distancing and asked him to put on a mask. He moved towards me to go to the back of the counter (without his mask) without giving me time or space to move away. He put on a neck bandana (basically ineffective), but then took it off shortly after.I was shocked, but I decided to get my croissant anyways (has kept me sane during quarantine). He said they were baked fresh and good. Yay! It came to $3.67, one of the most expensive ones out of the 12 bakeries I've tried downtown. I don't mind, it's part of hunt for a good butter croissant.Then came the full disappointment. The croissant was undercooked (the brighter picture might show it), the layers were all mushed together and soft and no feuilleté whatsoever. So all in all, not only was it expensive, and the store didn't follow covid guidelines, making me feel unsafe, it wasn't even a properly baked croissant. It was definitely a disappointment. My reviews are usually just filled with observations and details, but for this place, I truly don't recommend it.

My visit to this place today morning was not preplanned, but the experience was awesome.. had 2 The Big C (breakfast sandwich) & 2 Cappuccinos, it was very appealing and delicious. Everything in the sandwich was fresh, 10⭐ for the taste and quality of the omlet. Really loved the food and beverage, the interior was calming and attractive. A very good place to hang around, wish to spend more time inside after the pandemic ends. Will visit again and again.

Great cozy cafe with extremely friendly servers!They have some great options for vegetarians and the food is always very fresh .Definitely give their PB crunch açai bowl a try!

Don't miss this little gem! We found it after a long walk and were so happy we did. Excellent, fresh and healthy food served up beautifully with friendly efficient service. Eggplant wrap, open tuna sandwich, wonderful homemade soup - topped off with a yummy brownie. We had to go home the next day, otherwise we would have returned. We will for sure next time we're in Ottawa!

We were in town for four days and had to have breakfast there for three of them. After the first morning we were absolutely hooked. The cafe lattes are the best for miles around. Ditto for the fresh butter croissants (ask for them hot)! I'm back in town soon and will also do lunch there as well. It has a European vibe - might be the outdoor ambiance. Pass by all of the other cafes and head straight to this one. You won't be disappointed.

I would go back to Ottawa just to have breakfast here again! Mouth-watering avocado toast with poached eggs, great cappuccino, super-fresh salad, what a great way to start every day. Very short walk from my hotel in Byward Market, and a stone's throw to National Gallery. Prettily located on a quiet courtyard. Ultra-friendly staff. I 'm sorry I didn't come back for lunch after my gallery visit.

I'll admit, I was humoring my sister to go to RAW for breakfast. The waitress/cook was very welcoming and super helpful. Wound up with the Juice Monkey which is an absolutely delicious smoothie bowl, with granola, banana, blueberry and strawberry, all topped with honey. Sis had the PB bowl which was just as epic! Will definitely come here again next time I visit Ottawa.
