West Kelowna Music School

This is a tremendous music school. All the teachers are friendly and welcoming. Sandra Mitchell is an experienced music teacher and has developed a marvelous relationship with our son. We are very grateful to have such a great music school with such capable music teachers in West Kelowna.John and Thao Kenny

My daughter has worked with multiple teachers at WKMS and they are all lovely! I would highly recommend taking your kid(s) there to learn any kind of music.

Love this music school! With two boys taking multiple instruments and choir, the school sometimes feels like a second home... Wonderful and welcoming. When I think of the amazing and unique relationships the teachers have with their students, (seeing the same student one on one, year after year, watching them grow up) I know there is no other place I'd rather send my sons!

My wife and I have been taking piano lessons with Melodie for just over a year. As new adult learners we were a little intimidated about taking lessons, but it has turned out awesome. Melodie is the perfect role model teacher. She is full of energy, fun, caring, a wonderful teacher and a very accomplished pianist. We look forward to each and every lesson.

Delightful, sums up my children’s experience at the West Kelowna Music School. They started out with Mrs. Sandra Mitchell at the age of four. My children looked forward to Mrs. Mitchells’ classes. Mrs. Mitchell had a variety of approaches to teaching music to young children, and brought with her to each class a wonderful excitement to their music experience. Our children now have Mrs. Karen Emmond as their teacher. Mrs. Emmond is an excellent teacher, she continuously challenges the children and meets their musical needs. What I like as a parent is that the children are made accountable for their preparedness when they come to class, and as a result they are engaged in each and every lesson.
