The handpies here are DELICIOUS. They are fresh, flavourful, and filling. However they are quite expensive ($8 for frozen/$8.50 for take out) and the location is quite a hike out of Charlottetown. I’d like them to offer them out of the Charlottetown Farmer’s Market and have a deal for buying multiple frozen pies at once.

A must stop is the PEI Handpie Company! I have never tasted anything like it, I had the All Day Breakfast and it was absolutely amazing! They have a big selection of already warmed up pies to go and Frozen to bring home with you , Staff are extremely helpful and it's neet to see how they are made on site. everything is fresh and they are not shy with the fillings, great place to stop for a nice hot lunch!

Just happened to pass by the store on my way back to the bridge and even though I’d never heard of them before I felt the need to stop. When I went in everyone was so nice and enthusiastic. It smelled wonderful. Warm savory and sweet pies were ready in the case. The maritime meat pie sounded interesting and this impulse buy turned out to be the best meal I had on the island. Similar to the Michigan pasties I’m familiar with but so much better.

I purchased 5 hand pies from your shop in late May. They were all frozen, and I have just had the opportunity to finally taste my first...it was the beef and blue. Absolutely delicious, the pastry was so tender and flakey. The beef was plentiful and for those of you who shy away from Blue Cheese....jump in to this! It is very mild and adds a nice creaminess to the dish...not overwhelming. One pie with a salad easily feeds 2 people. Delicious!

Must try on PEI! The Handpie Company is amazing! Hot pies, delicious snacks and drinks available for take out at their location in Albany. Frozen handpies available to take home and let me tell you the easiest item to cook and flaky delicious pastry at home! So many types to choose from. Favs are the breakfast, cheesy potato and pulled pork ones! Best part too they are now available in many local freezer sections of grocers on the island! Great company! Support local.

Never had one before and I’m glad we stopped here for a quick snack. The cheeseburger pie was our favourite!! The chicken pot pie was good too.

The bacon cheeseburger pie was really good! Also liked the blueberry pie. It’s nice to sit outside and enjoy the pies on a sunny day. Wish there were more flavours available ready to eat.

The handpies are delicious! So many varieties to choose from, makes a perfect lunch to take on the go or have a stash of them in your freezer. Beets, corn and goat cheese is my favorite. The sweet pies are yummy and I often stop in for lemon vanilla cookie when I'm driving by.
