Hammam Spa by Céla King West

We had a wonderful Unite Couples Package experience at Hammam.Some reviewers mentioned not receiving an explanation of how things work when arriving. I asked a lot of questions when I got there. The spa has Turkish towels at the front desk. If you want to use the steam room without a bathing suit (ideal IMO), ask for a Turkish towel when you arrive. Put it on under your robe and head for the steam room. Leave your robe outside but take a regular towel (provided outside the steam room) for your head if you want to lay down. After your steam, try a glorious essential oil infused cool towel from the fridge outside to wipe off the sweat. The Turkish towel is a nice light fabric that is ideal for steam (and so comfy) - don’t settle for a regular towel!Don’t hesitate to enjoy the tea room or steam room before or between treatments. Staff will come and find you wherever you are when it is time for the treatment to start, so you can relax. I really struggled with the lack of clocks, and eventually put my phone in my robe pocket, but I technically did not need it.The couples package was great because the treatments had buffer time built in so that everything started and ended promptly and we had the chance to head to the steam room or tea room or washroom between appointments. Treatments were lovely - my skin was glorious when I got home.There was no sign of Turkish treats in the tea room except with our paid lunch, but lots of nuts and some dried cranberries. Mint tea was perfect for relaxation. Room was cozy and enjoyable.The lunch is a spot where the spa could do a bit better - a wrap at the price point in question seems a bit ridiculous, particularly in comparison to what’s offered at other spas. That said, there is a benefit to having a light lunch when using a steam room and getting massages, and the Turkish treats were truly wonderful.

Where do I even begin, well lets start with Giovanna the manager she made the day perfect and helped organize a 6 girl bachelorette spa day. The bride was very surprised. The set up of the complimentary champagne was above and beyond. For my specific treatments the massage felt amazing and the facial was perfect. I came in with redness because I have very bad seasonal allergies and the treatment really helped I would say the redness is 70% better today. Oh and the steam room, gosh darn that helped me so much with my sinuses I didn't want to leave. I left feeling better and looking like a glazed donut. Overall an amazing experience and after the bride's wedding we plan on coming every 2 months. Thank you everyone for making the day so special.

I got a giftcard to this spa for my birthday and went with my sister in law for a wrap. It was amazing. We started in the steam room which was beautifully decorated and so relaxing. From there we went into our separate treatments. The lady who did my treatment was so kind and I let her know I hadn’t had a treatment before and she walked me through the whole process. She was professional and friendly! After the treatment we got some complimentary dessert and tea and relaxed in some adorable egg chairs. I would definitely go back the experience was fantastic and I felt so relaxed the whole time.

My partner and I attended Hammam Spa by Céla King West for a couples Glacial Mud Body Treatment, and it was fantastic. The experience was unlike any other I've had before. The service was wonderful. The spa itself was beautiful, clean, and inviting. The steam room was exceptional. I can't wait to go again! I highly recommend Hammam Spa to anyone looking to step away from the busy day-to-day life, and enjoy a calm day for healing and self-love. 10 out of 10!

Cela Spa was absolutely amazing! I had such a great time there, enjoying the steam room, the massages, and the facial treatments. The steam room was so relaxing and the massages were incredibly soothing. The facials left my skin feeling rejuvenated and glowing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I won't forget.

So like a majority of reviews here have pointed out... ever walk into a spa only to realize that you forgot your swimsuit? Then you spend the rest of the day feeling like you didn't get to maximize the use of the facilities, and get your bang for your buck? Well, you don't have to worry about doing that here because there is NO POOL.The spa did compensate with its gem, the steam room. No wonder it's the first image here. You are loaned a thematically appropriate Turkish towel to enter, so if you didn't bring two swimsuits like me, you're literally covered. There are lots of signs around the place that if you leave with the towel, you will be charged for it, which I think I would've been OK with me because the pattern was lovely. But not as lovely as the mosaic work in the steam room. I was admiring the delicately handcrafted work as I sat for ten-minute stretch in the aromatherapy, phototherapy steam room. There are two conveniently accessible showers close to the steam room and water.The lounge has these cocoon chairs I like and snacks like Moroccan teas and nuts. I like a theme.Emily, my RMT, was lovely and did thorough work in the one-hour session. It was full body with an emphasis on my upper back and even covered such details as my jaw and feet. She is very knowledgeable and customizes each session to her clients' needs. Also chatted about her extensive knowledge of anatomical terms due to her schooling, and how she came about this career and how she came about this job shortly after the spa opened. It was overall a very pleasant experience.

My first time visiting and I absolutely loved it. The ambiance is amazing, feels like you’re on vacation. The staff is wonderful and friendly. A very special thank you to an aesthetician Tanya, she did an amazing job. Michele and Tatyana were wonderful as well. 10/10 recommend!

I recently went with a friend for a relaxing spa day and birthday celebration. The massage therapists were great and the massage was wonderful. The steam room was also a great experience and the spa was kept very clean. I am taking off 2 stars because for such a highly rated spa, service in all areas should be great and unfortunately front desk service was not good. When we arrived, I greeted one receptionist and she did not even respond. She looked at me (I stood right in front of her) and just looked right back at her computer screen. So I went over to another receptionist and was checked in by her (She was very friendly and helpful). Once we were ready to leave, we went to the front desk to pay. I greeted the front desk team when I approached the desk and instead of at least greeting me back, they looked away from me and all looked at one another deciding who was going to assist my friend and I. Once I paid, the receptionist informed me that my massage therapy receipt for insurance claims would be emailed to me by the end of the day. 2 days went by and I still did not receive my receipt. So I called yesterday and requested for mine and my friend's receipt. Again, I was told that it would be emailed to me by the end of the day and it was not. I called twice again today requesting, for the third time, for our receipts without a response. Providing a massage therapy receipt should be something that is very simple but unfortunately has become a very difficult and frustrating process.

Had a perfect massage at this spa. It was absolutely relaxing n soothing. Feel so much lighter within. Olena is by far the best masseuse ever. She has a calm demeanour n spiritual aura which adds more positive effect on the massage. Loads of good vibes n blessings to her. Lisa at the reception is very kind n hospitable. Overall it was one of the finest experiences.
