Went with high expectation after reading the reviews and many people's suggestion. Ordered for Chicken dum biryani, Kerala Porotta, Appam, Gobi Manchurian and Sharjah shake. Shake was really good, everything else was just average. Service is good. Overall I felt it as an Ok place. Management really needs to have a look at the quality of food served.

I had ordered tea, really felt like south Indian tea, being a sound indian I can say that the tea was amazing. Kappa had authentic taste, garnished well. Fish curry was watery, fish was swimming in cocunut flavored Curry.flavour and garnish ok. Chicken briyani is fine.,got only essence flavours.chicken masala was really delicious. At the end we got tender coconut pudding.it was so yummy and tasty, looked so good,bt there was too much of whipped cream.the customer service was ok

A decent place for Kerala food, particularly for seafood and meat lovers. A small place with decent ambience and seating space with South Indian songs as bgm. When coming to food, none of the combos were available. The 'puttu and kadala curry', which is the most famous food in Kerala was unavailable which was disappointing.Non veg: Chiken Ularthiyathu (dry chicken fry) was a great hit and tasted amazing . Chicken chatti curry was presented well with authentic earthern bowl. Malabar chicken curry tasted great, just like the authentic Kerala one. In general, seemed to be very good according to my friends. However, in veg they messed up the order by bringing chilli Gobi as gravy when we had asked for dry. Even 'Appam' didn't look like authentic Appam and looked like oothapam. We were highly disappointed as Appam is known mainly for its bowl like shape with thick center and thin and crispy edges. Veg gravy and mushroom gravy were decent.Overall, it was a mixed experience with some disappointments and refreshing from the usual parathas and butter masalas.

I am rewriting my review since this seems like a new place now. Looks like management and chef has changed. Many items from the original menu are no longer served.Ambience leaves a bit to be desired. The place was dreadfully quiet when we got there... They only have seating for 4-5 people at each table and no spare chairs or ability to join tables.Server was friendly and took our order quickly. Food took a while to be served. We ordered the Mutton Biryani, Beef Roast with Paratha, Pompano fish fry, King fish curry, Appam and Puttu along with a couple glasses of lime juice. The Mutton Biryani was very good though, like a lot of reviews mentioned, the meat was mostly bones. The Beef and Paratha was fantastic. We really liked this dish. Very flavourful and fresh. The parathas were very good as well. The fried fish and king fish curry were both very good. The fried fish was very fresh and the masala was excellent. The King fish curry was good but the fish was a bit overcooked so it was tough. The Appam and Puttu were not good. The Appam were more like dosas and not the proper Kerala Appams we are used to. The Puttu was downright terrible. Extremely dry and crumbly. We didn't enjoy it at all.The lime juice was really very good. It had hints of ginger which made for a super delicious and refreshing drink.Overall we enjoyed everything except for the Puttu.

This restaurant is not your typical Indian restaurants you see out in Brampton or Toronto. I have to say that this restaurant has an amazing flavour to their dishes and is remarkably tasteful. I enjoyed the chicken Biryani along with the mutton curry. I do suggest to have a larger portion sizing for the parathas and the apam as they are not enough. Price is on the higher end so be prepared to pay more. Service may also be a bit slow at times but the food is a good wait. Would definitely recommend coming out with some friends for a gathering.Visit 2* bump up 1 starI came here a second time and brought along another person. This place far exceeds my expectations of an Indian restaurant. The person who was with me had ordered mutton Biryani but chicken Biryani had come out to our table. We had informed them about the mixup but the person who was with me stated it was okay. They apologized many times and asked if it was okay. We said it was okay and not to worry. They ended up bringing out mutton to fix the mistake. Great customer service at this location. The person I brought mentioned the flavours and aroma was definitely different and tasteful. I will definitely be frequenting this location. The apam and mutton curry always go great together. Keep up the great food and service!

Ordered beef roast, every single piece was a bone. No meat at all. When I asked the chef to explain, he said it comes this way( not sure if he has eaten at other restaurants that offer similar food). Even the beef curry had just bones in it. Another table behind us had the same experience the same time and they got the same explanation from the chef!A very disappointing experience as usually kerala food is good in terms of quality and quantity, but not at this location!

Authentic Kerala food. I've been here twice now and have enjoyed their coconut oil rich dishes. My Punjabi fiancé also truly enjoyed the kerala food.On my most recent visit, we ordered the tharavadu chicken curry on special and the vegetable stew with some Kerala parottas.Service was super fast and both dishes tasted great. The parottas were soft flaky and delicious. The chicken curry was spicy with a rich coconut and curry leaves flavour. Meat was nicely cooked.Vegetable stew was typical Kerala style creamy coco nutty deliciousness.Place is nice with a very Mallu vibe. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Our waiter answered all our questions and recommended the chicken curry.Would love to come back!

Been to this place thrice! All the food they serve had got the goodness of authentic Kerala cuisine. Small place for large groups. Long wait times during busy hours. Only disappointing thing about the place is most of the items on the menu is not available always. We had like 5 items asked for, which were not available the day we went.Friendly and kind staff. Price is resonable.Always wanted to try the bamboo biriyani and the sharjah shake which was not available every time i went there. The parottas are good. Chicken and fish polichadhu in a banana is my favorite here.

I am eating keralite cuisine for the first time. It's a great experience. The fish wrapped in banana leaf is great. Kerala Paranta is a must try. Fried ice cream is awesome.
