Wow! Very fancy place to have some Japanese food. Really enjoyed the Tartare which was very yummy, but the highlight of the show was the 15 piece sashimi!The restaurant was very accommodating for our group of 11 when we showed up without a reservation. Very good service and inviting and bright atmosphere.

Best quality sashimi in Calgary and the best thoughtful service!I visited here to celebrate my brother’s birthday. He was sooooo happy for the top quality sashimi and the thoughtful service. The spicy salmon and California rolls were delicious. I really loved the wasabi.The interior at the first floor was very pretty and clean.The chef is amazing and thoughtful. The waitress was so pleasant and made us happy all the way.Next time I will bring my parents.

Highly recommend this charming restaurant! All the dishes were impressive but the cold soba & katsu stood out from the rest! Ask for Doby, our server gave great recommendations & very charming too. Will definitely visit again when we are back in town!

I came to Vancouver yesterday and ordered takeout from this sushi restaurant and I have to say, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the overall experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.First of all, the ordering process was incredibly easy and seamless. The online ordering system was intuitive and user-friendly, and I was able to place my order with just a few clicks. Plus, the restaurant provided regular updates on the status of my order, so I always knew exactly when it would be ready.When I arrived to pick up my food, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who were clearly passionate about their craft. They took the time to carefully package each dish, ensuring that everything arrived home in perfect condition.

Wow! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Ryuko. By far the best service I have ever received at a restaurant - Dobby was very attentive, caring, and personable. He provided excellent recommendations and made sure that our entire evening was flawless. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, and very fresh. You can tell that they take great pride in elevating Calgary’s food scene. Absolutely worth coming here - you won’t be disappointed!

Ryuko is one of, if not the best Japanese restaurant in Calgary. The food is excellent and you can tell that they prioritize the quality of their ingredients. The interior is modern yet cozy. The service is also top tier, they have a wonderful team running the show. You’ve got to try the cold soba noodles with shrimp tempura, but you can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Checks off all the boxes. Definitely my favorite place to go for my lunch break!

Overall a great place for lunch. Location has free 3 hour parking with the QR code provided. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Excellent staff, friendly, kind, and professional. Had their daily lunch menu:- Katsu set- Sushi set- Miso Tonkotsu Ramen- Karaage BowlThe only item on the menu that could be improved is the Ramen, the broth was a bit below average. Every other menu item was excellent and delicious. Price is right for the amount you get for lunch.

⭐️ 10/10! The staff, food, and atmosphere at Ryuko are immaculate. To start, the staff are all beyond friendly and accommodating. Andy is our favourite server - he ties the whole experience at Ryuko together and really makes it personable. We loved all the recommendations he offers, and he gave us awesome direction when we were debating on what to order. Ryuko has become a frequented date night spot for my partner and I; we are never disappointed and look forward to every visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
