I have been seeing Dr. Hawke for about 8 or 9 years now. While googling the phone number again (new phone) I was shocked at the reviews. I have only ever left 2 other reviews to date at places I feel strongly about.Professionalism: Obviously they are attempting to be as stream lined as possible. He IS a specialist, and appointments are booked with time in mind to serve the MOST people who have been waiting weeks to have access to a specialist, BUT he has always taken the time when I have not understood immediately, and has always answered EVERY Professional question I have ever asked. He is a knowledgeable, fact based practitioner.Personal Experience: Always running on schedule except on my first appointment he was 5 minutes late for which he apologized. This surprised me, I commented he was a specialist and I thought 5 minutes was nothing. His reply was I only work here, you have to travel from who knows where with time off work to me. I told him it seemed very efficient service. His reply was 'I have good people'.Beside Manner: He has spoken to me about scuba diving, Photography, the circ du soleil creator being on the ISS and the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Perhaps if people engaged with him rather than expecting being catered to they would be surprised by the response. He has always answered EVERY Personal I have ever asked.Referrals: Other than referrals to sleep studies which went smoothly, his hearing tests are done in house, I have not had referrals for surgery, I cannot speak to referrals to a surgeon or surgeon's office. Perhaps it is more the Surgeon's office than Dr. Hawke's office I do not know.

Unfortunately, Dr. Hawke did nothing to help my problem. I first saw him in March 2021. Initially, I had a test done right away. I waited nearly 6 months for a CT scan, another 2.5 months before I saw Dr. Hawke for a literally 5 minute follow-up only to be told I had to come back in another 30 days for an additional hearing test. I'm still struggling with my hearing and his office has not been in touch and offered no solutions or help.

Doctor always rushed and didn't take his time to explain my specific issue. Would of preferred someone who provided me with in depth info as a specialist" should. They fly through patients very quickly here"

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DOCTOR TO REFER YOU TO DR. HAWK. He is extremely unprofessional, does not get any history, hardly performed any type of physical exam, and is extremely careless. Receptionists were also rude and unwelcoming. His exam room was dirty and dusty, and his half eaten lunch was sitting out on his table. Another doctor was also not wearing his mask in clinic for everyone to see. The worst part - He MIS-DIAGNOSED me and told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my nose. I got a second opinion because I knew he was WRONG. The new amazing ENT specialist I was referred to found right away that I have a deviated septum which I will be getting surgery for to finally correct. He wasted my time, kept me in uncomfortable pain, and made me feel stupid, like I was wrong. Always get a second opinion, always trust your gut. I want to warn others so the same thing does not happen to them. Because I’m sure it has and will. I could have had my nose corrected by now and I wouldn’t be dealing with so many sinus issues if it wasn’t for Dr. Hawk’s lack of care and judgement. It’s shameful. He doesn’t even deserve 1 star. So many reviews say he is out of date and doesn’t know what he is doing - I 100% agree.

Needed a follow up appointment and have not heard anything for 2 months. Have reached out multiple times, finally got a hold of someone and was told I would hear back the next day. 1 week later still nothing from their office.

I’ve been to this office twice now for the same appointment, followed up both times at which point the secretary says she will and then you won’t hear from them for the next year. They rarely answer the phone and the office is usually closed. If you can find anywhere else to visit (or to direct patients if you’re a referring doc), you should because they should be shut down if they can’t handle simple tasks like following up with patients.

This was the rudest and most disrespectful man I have ever met. He never met my eyes, only read the chart and made no attempt to connect to me as a person. He also never let me address my concerns. The man should have gone into Computer Science.

Seemed knowledgeable and professional, but the follow-up is ridiculous. I was supposed to be referred for surgery, and after more than 10 ph calls over 6 months leaving messages, have not had even the courtesy of a simple call back. It may be a receptionist issue, but ultimately the doctor is responsible. Shame.

Dr. Hawke doesn't have a clue what he's doing and his knowledge is so outdated - my guess by about 40 years. He did an endoscopy and and said everything looked fine which I knew wasnt the case seeing as I could barely breathe and had a sore throat for months. I went to get a second opinion and confirmed that he was wrong, showing severe swelling and inflammation around my larynx. The constant ear pain he said was in my head was indeed coming from my throat. How could he possibly miss this? First, he doesn't seem to understand that a lot of ent health is directly related to gastro health. Second, Dr. Hawke is quite advanced in age and I personally think his eyesight has almost gone completely but he's still practicing despite this being the case. You can tell he has problems with his eyes just from looking at him. He's a dangerous doctor and I wouldn't recommend seeing him for anything.
