Hi, we had the most fabulous wedding reception at Le Forum!! It was simply unforgettable all around from the venue to the food to the service! There are no words to describe the treatment that we received. Not only was the food and service exceptional on our wedding night, but it is beyond delicious every time we go for supper, which we do now because of The excellent food. The views are obviously spectacular too!!!! I was so happy too that the second level is so beautifully decorated with booths, fantastic chairs and decor that we hardly had to decorate. I’m sharing photos! We highly recommend it! You will be happy!

Good service! But the food sucks! Worst steak I’ve ever had ask for medium and was almost raw meat and my wife ask for well done and was medium rare….the meat taste like cheap old meat ! the french fries look like they were cook in the microwave. Cost me a hundred dollars and we didn’t even eat half of the plate told them it was bad they never offer to take anything of the bill!! DON’T GO THERE!!

We came here for the great location and because we have driven by many times and never come here before. The reviews aren't great but we were very happy with our experience. Right across the street from the water and boardwalk. Beautiful view from the table beside the railing. We came for a weekday lunch. Was very quiet. Including us only 4 tables on the patio had people. They have a discounted daily entree special but we went for something else. We had the filet dore/pickerel with veggies and rice as well as the spaghetti bolognese. The fish was very good as were the sides. The spaghetti had lots of meat sauce. Not the most amazing spaghetti bolognese but good and great value for everything with the fish being $17 and spaghetti being $15.The service was excellent. Our server was Marie-Pier. Very attentive. Washrooms are in the basement and were very clean.

Made reservation for Latin Saturday a week ago, called to ensure all good for the evening was told yes. Got there, they didn’t have my reservation, didn’t even care! No attempt to fix it just a shoulder shrug! One young bouncer super RUDE! Asked the old man that watches the cameras if it would be ok to place my drink on the counter he said ok, Placed my drink there just to be told by bouncer no can’t! Went outside to smoke, sat in chair same bouncer again No can’t be there! Then told that if I back talk I would not be allowed back into the club! Ridiculous! So I left, I luv Latin dancing but the staff in this place is SUPER RUDE!!! No voy volver. Si pudiera dar ninguna Estrella lo daria!

First time dining and we were not disappointed. Three of us enjoyed our meals, service was great and our food came out fairly quickly. The desserts were delicious as well. Our server was named Nick (according to the bill) and he was very helpful.

Have come 2 times now and the food is superb, servers are friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend for a great meal and wonderful view of the Ottawa River.

Another fabulous dinner at Le Forum Restaurant right across the Ottawa River in Gatineau. Since Peter took over the place has improved by 100% If you're looking for a place with great food, great service and a great view, then you have to come for a visit. Honestly all I can say is WOW! I'm not easily impressed and I'm super impressed. I've been back 7 times now and will keep coming.

Great ambience. New owners go the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable outing. The meat lovers pizza is very tasty, not doughy, and I always order on each visit. 5 Coronas in an ice bucket is a great deal. The fish n chips wasn't all batter. One can actually taste the fish, and it was a hearty morsel. We were inconvenienced a bit with a large crowd of youngsters there for shots before their cruise on the river, we saw the ship filling up on the way out, but the manager/owner made it right by us with complimentary cognacs, and a move to a quieter spot. Definitely a must visit dining out, with great patio views of sunsets. Building gives off a New Orleans type look from the outside, especially when lit up at night. Hopefully such a theme will be introduced.

Our waiter, Lucas, was incredible… great service and lots of humor! Added so much to an absolutely fabulous meal! Never expected such good Italian food in Canada… Don’t miss this place with a grand view of the river.

Service was excellent!!! Peter the owner is very welcoming and Luigi extremely friendly…. The salmon with rice and veggies was delicious and the cheese cake WoW very good !!!
