I had a fantastic experience at Nitty Gritty Tattoo getting my first tattoo with Brock Ryan. Booking was easy, after sending my idea to Brock he had me call the store to book an appointment and place a deposit.I was sent reminders the week before and day of the appointment which is useful if you're the kind of person who isn't counting down the days to your appointment.I was greeted as soon as I arrived and checked in by Dylan who made me feel welcomed immediately. The shop has a great open feel and is extremely clean. Each artist has their own station and it was clear cleaning protocols were of the upmost importance.I am beyond pleased with my tattoo and experience and can't wait for my next one.

Love the new shop and all the staff here. They really make you feel welcome and at home, the whole place has such a great atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough.

Very clean and professional environment. Health inspector was there inspecting every single thing and had no issues. My tattoo looks better than I anticipated and it healed perfectly. Matt was super respectful and easy to talk to when I wanted and then to be in silence when I wanted.

Always a fantastic visit!Friendly staff, all inclusive no matter who or what you are and how comfortable you are is top priority for them for every visit.Tattoo and barbers follow various styles so almost anyone can get anything done just have to take your pick of the group.Grab a drink Friday nights at their speakeasy bar or buy the merchandise to help support Men’s Mental health.Love them all!

I had the pleasure of working with Shannon today. My tattoo has turned out even better than I could have imagined! She is very detail oriented and meticulous with her work. By far my favourite tattoo that I have. She was so gentle I could have literally taken a nap. Such a comfortable and friendly atmosphere too! I will definitely be back in the future!

Had an appointment in Cormac’s chair this morning. Dude is a master of his craft! Did an excellent job, 10/10 recommend this place! Will absolutely be a return customer.

My son and I have come here quite a few times now and have always been impressed with Jose and Cormac. They are true professionals with an easy going fun atmosphere. Their station are always exceptionally clean and ready to go. Thanks guys!

Love getting Jose to cut my hair, always goes above and beyond for me! Also brock does amazing tattoos that hold up for years with vibrant colours. Everyone in the shop is so awesome and makes for a very relax and open environment/atmosphere
