Tesla Supercharger

30-40mins from 60km to 350km. Super fast!

Don't buy a Tesla unless you have access to the charge at home besides the super charging station. Almost always a line up for the spot. Pity for those sitting in the car waiting for someone leaving

Across from Hudson Bay at Richmond Center. Location is usually busy and permits upto 80% charging during peak hours.

All stations worked, very busy, although app said one stall wasn't working, they all were.Tesla seems to be having a lot of internal data issues lately. Roads out of date by 6 months too all over my home area.

This isn't the best supercharging location. Fortunately it's easy to get to, this side of the mall parking lot is pretty quiet, and the area is well lit.On the downside, this is a large installation of exclusively v2 chargers. The v3 chargers in Surrey/Coquitlam/etc. have extremely high usage and are lined up, so whether it be convenience or choice to come to the Richmond charger here, expect to be waiting a long time at almost all hours of the day.These v2 stations provide only 72/75 kW while two cars are parked in adajacent stalls (which they almost always are due to high usage). A relatively deep charge here will take 40-70 minutes whereas it might take <20 on a v3.I'd avoid this charger if there was a better location nearby, but there isn't so this is the best we have for now. Before plugging in make sure to check in-car on the nav for which stalls are inoperable since the lights on the chargers themselves are difficult to spot.

Fast charging.Long line up.If late too quiet feel insecure.Some strange people doing.....Just walk out and walk back from parking lot feeling insecure.Friendly reminder if after finished charged. Will apply for very high Tesla charger fee.

This lit area is very busy and the Tesla supercharger is full, do you have to wait to charge your Tesla.

1st time at an American supercharger. I like the fact they charge by kilowatt instead of time. Also they don't charge sales tax. When we plugged in at 23% we got a great 118kw/h, but quickly went down to 63kw/h at around 40%, and remained there for the balance of the charge. Total time spent was 30 minutes. The chargers are easy to find close to a mall exit. You park on an angle opposite to the lines painted on the ground. The closest mall has very little inside to keep you entertained for longer charge sessions. If you are not charging your car, the lot has a per hour charge.

A very busy site. You would have to park on the side joining the wait line at peak times. My Model X 2022 gets about 66kW. Not the rated 150kW.
