Robertson Plastics

Our decades old elevator has lighting panels that have degraded from white translucent to dark yellow brown, making the elevator interior dark and dingy. I asked other companies for their suggestions and thought acrylic or other similar plastics might work.Fortunately, when I contacted Robertson Plastics Joel advised that acrylics did not meet applicable fire code and suggested an alternative.I appreciate the knowledge demonstrated and help I received.

Had an enclosure made. They made it the wrong size and when I went back today they were unprepared to do anything for me. I suggested if I were to pay for one that would fit could they have it ready in 4 days, ( there is an hours labour on this work ) he refused and ended it by saying we're done here" and pointed at the door. Went to another shop and they are going to do it for me and within 4 days. So I kiss $200 good bye and they will never be a place I deal with again. Funny

I was very pleased with the fabrication work Robertson Plastics did for me last month. I needed trim pieces for the mooring lines on my floating home. I went to the store not knowing exactly what would be best. It is a family run business and brothers Mark and Blair were extremely helpful in selecting the right product for the job. I gave them the measurements and they provided me with a wooden mock-up to test on my home. Took them home and tested them. Once I called and gave them the thumbs up my trim pieces were ready within three days and they look fantastic! Great customer service, fabulous end result and the satisfaction of supporting a local family run business.

Felt kind of stupid coming in for 1 sq ft of clear acrylic. The person was great to deal with even got it cut for a total sale of $11. Will come back. Was treated with respect and a smile. Thanks

I've been shopping at Robertson for many years as a kayak and wooden boat building hobbyist. Outstanding store.Their product knowledge of not only epoxies but finishing products like paint and varnishes is second to none. Excellent service and fair prices.

I have dealt with this company for many years - even when they were Industrial Plastics. I have always had excellent service, fair prices and above average quality. Blair has been very resourceful at times to figure out how to make some of the products I wanted, some of which were very unusual. Can't say enough good about them. Highly recommend.

I had such a great experience with Robertson Plastics. Their sales manager Joel went above and beyond to make sure I got the right sheet of acrylic for my project. He realized that there was a mistake on the website about the price, so I got it for cheaper than expected and he even looked up some information on acoustics, which is definitely not part of his job. The price was great, the delivery was super fast and Joel followed up to make sure I got the sheet on time. I learned after the fact that the sheet is 100% recycled acrylic, which is such a nice bonus. I strongly recommend this company.

Very nice folks here but I'm a bit disappointed with their customer service. Purchased $1,000 worth of materials for a job based on their recommendation that it would perform, but the acrylic panels cracked on installation and instead of being a solid white color they were opaque so all the glue applied to the wall can be seen through the panel. Called them but they wouldn't offer any kind of compensation. Now we are forced to wall paper over the panels. They shouldn't be recommending products for jobs if they are not going to standby their recommendations. This was not an installation issue. It was a product issue.

Great place. Positive family atmosphere and really takes care of it's employees and customers. Blair Robertson is an amazing fabricator of all things plastic and Mark Robertson is bar none of the most knowledgeable in the industry. Sales staff is knowledgeable and takes care of every customer no matter the size of order. Highly recommend.

Thanks to the great people at Robertson. Super knowledgeable competitive prices.... I'm based in Vancouver, but it's worth it for me to travel to get product.
