Maki Sushi Restaurant
Visiting from Vancouver and stopped in here for lunch.. I tried the avocado roll and the yam roll.. utterly blown away by how tasty everything was!!Prices are phenomenal and the staff/owner was so friendly. 10/10 experience!!

Such a great place to dine in. The owners are so lovely and always very kind and welcoming. The food is amazing and I always roll out the door instead of walking haha

This Sushi place is my favorite one to go to! Amazing food created with love, and such sweet and kind staff that is always super welcoming! Best Wonton soup in town, that's hand crafted with a hearty broth. Highly recommend to try it amongst the Lama's ebi roll and spicy tuna- but really, everything is delicious here! :)

rating for sushi 5 out of 10. We ordered a takeout. Instead of 20 minutes, it took them 30 minutes, Which would be fine if we didn't have to wait in this tiny room with two tables and two meters from the door to the kitchen. I can't call this place sterile. In addition, local criminal-looking homeless people hang out in the parking lot and right next to the doors of this institution. They constantly harass every passerby (which happened to us). I did not advise a woman to visit this place alone. I don’t know why the owner of this restaurant cannot somehow solve this problem, but the presence of dirty aggressive homeless people right at the door of the restaurant clearly turns away any normal customer. We never will come again. Sorry.

One of the few sushi restaurants still open at 9 on a Tuesday. The Gyozas were super greasy and had a little pile of oil and overcooked in my opinion. The sushi was subpar, maybe being the end of the night the rice wasn't as fresh as could be but the teriyaki beef sushi roll was pretty good.

I really liked their sushi rolls, they are unique and delicious. I ordered Kelowna Maki roll, vegetable spring rolls, vegetable deluxe roll, and Miso soup. Have also previously tried their chicken teriyaki roll. Everything was delicious including Miso Soup. I highly recommend their Kelowna Maki and Veggie Deluxe Roll, they are better than the non-veg rolls. Very interesting!

Love this place, close to home and it's a family-owned and run sushi place. The service is great and the quality is great for the price you pay. Can't complain whatsoever. Highly recommend if you're looking for good sushi on a budget.

Kelowna’s hidden gem. Friendly staff with delicious sushi made with passion!Started with three different soups, and the wanton soup wins hands down. Next came the massive orders, which was a pleasant surprise as the chef took time and effort to plate it nicely on a platter instead of sending it out one by one. Recommendation: Go for the fatty tuna. The rest of the food was also exemplary and absolutely delicious. Don’t wait any longer, just go, order everything and decide for yourself!
