Blood Collection Clinic

At a time where everyone has to make appointments, people shouldn't have to stand in a line. While standing here, I see disabled people who have family/friends in the lineup because they can't stand. They are lucky to have someone able to do this. There are several elderly folks hanging onto the wall. Why can't names be called for appointments allowing those who need it to sit down.

I recently visited the Blood Collection Centre in Spryfield and was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and efficiency provided by the staff. The team was calm and supportive throughout the process, ensuring that I felt comfortable and at ease.In terms of logistics, the centre is not typically busy, which allowed for a quick and smooth experience. The availability of parking on site was also a major plus, as it eliminated the need to search for a spot on the street.Overall, my experience at the Blood Collection Centre in Spryfield was highly positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The team's professionalism and kindness were truly exceptional.

The staff here is super friendly and welcoming. The service was very quick and the place is clean and tidy. It is also very accessible either by bus or car. The only drawback is long wait for booking appointments, but that’s the problem with Nova Scotia Health Department in general.

The washroom was very clean. The chairs were all spaced out for social distancing. When you arrive they make you take off your mask and give you a new one.

Having to wait 3 weeks for a blood collection appointment at this or any other NS Health location is simply unacceptable and puts Nova Scotian's health at risk. This is a pathetic healthcare system that needs an overhaul desperately.

Update: They are now open 7 till 2:30, Mon. to Fri. and 8 until 3:30, on Saturdays, as of November 2020. It's very well organized, with a short wait time.
