Couldn't be happier with my suit. Nice to have a new go-to tailor! Top notch customer service and communication as well.

I was so excited to find that Modernize Tailors also makes cloth masks, and Mia absolutely exceeds my expectations. She's always prompt to respond to my inquiries. When I told her the masks she sewed for my 3 year old son were a bit too small (which has nothing to do with her work but rather due to the fact that my son is quite big), she offered to make two bigger ones for my son for free. I can't thank her enough for her professional work and how much she cares about her customers. Would definitely recommend to friends and families around!

I'm very thin, so when it came time to get a suit for my wedding I knew I needed something custom. To be honest, I was dreading the process - I had never worked with a tailor before and didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted - only that I was looking for something a bit different, distinctive, and off the beaten path. Mia and Chris read me well, made me feel comfortable very quickly, and they generously (as well as artistically/creatively) helped me navigate the myriad of options to produce a truly personalized and bespoke result which exceeded my expectations. My 3-piece suit (and custom shirt) was a big hit at the wedding, and I'll be proud to wear these fine garments for many years to come. I got an extra pair of pants in a different fabric for more flexibility, and overall I feel that my investment has returned excellent value. My schedule can be quite challenging, so I appreciate that communication was flawless, and their flexibility was much appreciated. Zero regrets. I am excited to return to work with Mia and Chris again in the future as I expand my wardrobe. Thank you both so much!

Extremely thankful for Modernize Tailors. They tailored my suit beautifully! Tailored the suit jacket, paints and shirt. They then saved the day by making adjustments to my wife’s dress. Not only did they save us upwards of a thousand dollars on the dress alone, they were extremely time efficient and the customer service was amazing! Highly recommend

My experience is based on alternation: very disappointed. The service was decent, to be fair, but the work is horrible. A simple hemming, I can do MUCH better myself with a sewing machine.

I took my suit pants here to have them fixed after having sub-par alterations done elsewhere...Mia and Chris were excellent! The pants turned out perfectly, and it was very easy to do business with them. I would highly recommend them for any tailoring needs. I've been to several tailors in the past with disappointing results...so it's very nice to find somewhere that's doing things properly.

I accidentally bumped into this place whilst looking for someone to do alterations on a pair of new jeans. Modernize does not do alterations to denim, however, they deal with high end, classic, antique fabrics. If you're looking for a company who will care for your great grandma's wedding dress Modernize is the place for you!

Mia and her team are excellent tailors - the best I've ever worked with. They expertly altered my Prince Charlie and Argyle jackets and vests making off-the-rack look custom tailored. I have no hesitation in providing the highest recommendation for them.

I bought several masks from here and asked for unique alterations to each and Mia was incredibly responsive and helpful with getting the alterations done and getting them to my house quickly! Super great service, the masks fit excellently, exactly how I want, would highly recommend.
